Pinch yourself, because Shenmue III is no longer a dream. The game is getting a big blowout at E3 2019 ahead of its 19th November release date, and here’s your latest look at the long-awaited sequel. While there’s also a Japanese language version, the English edition features the first voice work from returning star Corey Marshall, who’s reprising his role as the legendary Ryo Hazuki.
There’ll be plenty of complaints about the animations, visuals, and overall presentation – but there’s no denying that this really does have the same vibe as the Dreamcast originals, and as veteran franchise fans, that’s more than enough for us. Heck, there’s even a QTE chase sequence because it wouldn’t be a Shenmue game without one. We’re hyped.

Such a surreal moment! I've waited half my life for this!
@get2sammyb Is Your Kung Fu Strong enough to play this Game Sammy lol
Love it. Voice work is spot on. Very impressed considering the amount of time between this one and the last.
Gonna re-play 1 and 2 again in preparation. Playing Shenmue for me is like putting on some comfy slippers and going back in time to my childhood.
Shenmue VR next please.

This game is getting post launch dlc !!! How do I know? Just preordered the Shenmue 3 deluxe digital edition on ps store Greece. Should be on other countries ps stores by now, cost was 74.99 for the deluxe with post launch dlc, regular edition was 59.99.
Alright, time to dust off the dualshock.
I wish they would confirm we are also getting the Japanese language as an option.
I'm relieved it's the same voice. Nostalgia
Man, this looks bad
Here starts the rant about the the game looking bad and so on. Get a grip, it's not a triple a game. It's a sequel to an old game with a small but strong fanbase. Why the hate?
Man, this looks good.
I'm fuzzy on the whole good/bad thing.
I always think the English dub of the Shenmue game pays homage to the hilariously bad English dubs of the Asian movies like the Jackie Chan films 80's and early 90's for example which I enjoy.
Looks perfect!
