No More Heroes III was one of the highlights from today’s E3 2019-themed Nintendo Direct, but it’s being billed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive – for now. Why are we posting this? Because spin-off title Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes was also advertised as an exclusive, but is coming to the PlayStation 4 later this year.
Historically, protagonist Travis Touchdown has had an odd relationship with PlayStation platforms: the first game in the series also launched as a Nintendo exclusive, before eventually being ported to the PlayStation 3 many years later. Whether the third game in the series will follow the same pattern, of course, remains to be seen.

Bet Nintendo paid for timed exclusivity like Sony did for the FF VII remake. Makes sense given the NMH series began on Nintendo platforms. I'm hyped for the next chapter.
Hopefully there'll be a collection with 1 and 2 that can release on both consoles.
Didnt want this game anyway
To many other Games to get and play to worry about this
It's gonna suffer from RE4 syndrome, like so many Nintendo paid exclusives do. I'm actually watching the Nintendo Direct now. I'm a Switch owner as well as a PS4 owner and PC gamer, so it's not like I'm a Sony fanboy, but Jesus Christ this Direct is boring. Link's Awakening has a level editor/dungeon creator which is cool but isn't on the same hype level as stuff like FFVII and Cyberpunk or even Keanu calling me breathtaking.
Nice to see Seiken Densetsu 3 coming out over here for the first time since its release in Japan 25 years ago - but it's been available, translated on emulators since the 90s or early 2000s so everyone who wants to has already played it (great game, by the way).
They keep only showing very badly animated cutscene footage of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. That's the Switch game I'm most looking forward to by far but FE fans are pretty much universally filled with dread about its eventual quality.
Have you seen the Switch release schedule? NinoKuni and TW3 are "New Releases"
Really can not be this greedy, PS4 has more than enough games not coming to Switch to keep it popular.
@NintendoFan4Lyf I still can't believe The Witcher 3 is on Switch!
@Discipledoctor Yeah, I'm hoping for a NMH collection before this drops, personally. Never played these games, and I'm not starting with the third one.
@Matroska Most of the FE fans I've talked to are excited about Three Houses. The trailer was awesome. So... speak for yourself, I guess? It's the first one since Awakening that I'm actually excited for (Fates was a mess, and Echoes has level design issues).
@swagbag713
People at this website always sh*t on Nintendo. Especially after a good Direct.
just a timed exclusive like the spinoff from earlier this year. not to worry.
Really looking forward to this, still hope we get an HD remaster of the first 2 before its release. My only disappointments with the direct were the AC delay and nothing Metroid related. Even a Prime trilogy Switch release or Samus Returns Switch release would hold me over.
@Gamer83 I agree and I don’t get it. Nintendo had a great showing, probably the best showing. At least most of the stuff they showed off actually had gameplay, unlike certain other big publishers. (Ahem... Microsoft, Ubi, Bethesda)
@Matroska Nintendo had Breath of the Wild 2, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Astral Chain, And Banjo In Smash those are all way more Hype then a guess star on stage. I mean come on Nintendo had Breath of the Wild 2.
