You may not believe it, but FIFA 19 launched on the PlayStation 3. The soccer simulation released in cash-grabbing Legacy Edition form, of course, but it was still available on Sony’s last-gen console. However, it looks like EA Sports may finally be done with the ancient console, as there’s no word of older systems in FIFA 20’s press release.
In fact, it appears there’ll only be one Legacy Edition this year: the Nintendo Switch. All of the other versions – including the PlayStation 4 instalment – will feature a new FIFA Street-inspired mode named Volta Football, which you can learn more about through here. If it is the end of the road for the PS3, though, we can probably all agree it had a darn good run.

14 years of FIFA aint bad. On par with PS2.
Lol at the one Legacy Edition though. Minimal effort.
Awesome thumbnail 😂👍🏻
