There’s good news for PlayStation Now subscribers: Bethesda is bringing DOOM, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Fallout 4 to the service from 6th August. The publisher announced the all-star selection of software during a panel at QuakeCon. As these are all native PlayStation 4 games, you’ll have the option to either download them to your hard drive or stream them.
Sony’s said it wants to take PS Now more seriously this year, and getting big publishers and brands on board like this should help to improve its profile.

Psnow is 1000x better than google stadia and xbox live imo.
It is nice they announced the list before they are added, which is a step in the right direction
Cause no one will buy them anymore after the crap 76
@jess3a3
But yet gamepass aready has Fallout 4, Doom and the new order so fail
@knightwolf Except you missed the point where Jess "imo" so hardly a fail.
Except Doom, yes, gonna play them.
All are games you could pick up pretty cheap anyway but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
I hope the multiplayer is included in PS Now, it was the best thing about Doom 2016
I still feel they shouldn't neglect PS3 games though, they should make sure they have as many of them as possible.
So do the PSNow versions contain all of the base game’s DLC? For example, I own Fallout 4 but there is a whopping 6 DLC and I do not own any of them. I was thinking about just rebuying the Game of the Year Edition or the Season Pass for Fallout 4 eventually, but going through PSNow might be a cheaper option.
@BridgeToClarity Totally a matter of opinion that Gamepass has better AAA games. You are also comparing a service that has around 200 games to a service that has around 700. There are far more AAA games on PSNow than on Gamepass, and if you compare the average scores on Metacritic for the AAA games on both platforms, they are very close in quality with PSNow just having much greater numbers.
Both services are good in their own way; Gamepass lets you download newer games right away, While PSNow has a much more extensive library across multiple platforms, with the option to both stream or download for many of them.
@BridgeToClarity Thank you, captain obvious. Objectively speaking though strictly on a metacritic average of AAA scores, it’s not true.
Your Yob avatar will be missed, btw.
I wasn't aware Fallout still held relevance.
@jess3a3
stadia has not even launched and its not even anything like ps now. Ps now is basically a library of games thats it. You then need to to buy a console costing £250 + to use it. Then pay a fee on top of that to access the games. Stadia all you need is the controller and you are ready to go then just buy the games you want. There is a subscription element buts optional.
@deepspace5d PSNow versions never include the DLC to my knowledge.
@KidBoruto Bummer, but makes sense. If you rent a game at Gamefly, it’s always just the base game and no DLC. Thanks for the info. Guess the best option is the season pass for $25.
@deepspace5d Either that or wait for sales on the DLC, sometimes it's as big as 50% off.
@deepspace5d if you own the DLC it will work with PS Now
Lol these games are like 6 bucks each used.... nice try though.
@hotukdeals that is not true you can download the app on PC right now & plug your controller in no console is needed for PS Now.
