Haru's received her own Persona 5 Royal character trailer, once again showing off some new gameplay footage, including her special 'Show Time' attack with Morgana.
Haru is often referred to as one of Persona 5's weaker characters, partly because she's introduced quite late in the game. As such, she doesn't get as much time as the other Phantom Thieves to establish her personality. With Persona 5 Royal, however, we should be seeing a lot more of Haru thanks to the expanded story and all the new character-specific scenes.

Hopefully she’ll be better with more time to settle into the team. She really was introduced too late.
There appears to be a dead man walking... Perhaps related to these "stolen" dreams.
@NintendoFan4Lyf The big draw is that they’re brilliant RPGs with a twisty story, plenty of depth, character development and are pretty open. The school stuff works because the writing’s great first and foremost but it also breaks up the monotony of grinding for some people.
Yeah she’s ok, Makoto is still best girl.
BOOOO HARU BOOOOOOOOO
@NintendoFan4Lyf Honestly I’d say it would be perfect as the game always ends on the same day. There’s a wee bit of grind, not as bad as some other RPGs but it does exist. My playthrough was about 80 hours and I didn’t manage to see everything so there’s definitely content but it’s hard to see it all in one run.
@nessisonett @NintendoFan4Lyf Worth mentioning that it has a bunch of different difficulty options too. The two easiest ones are great if you just want the story without having to grind.
@NintendoFan4Lyf Like Robert said, if you go with the easiest difficulty (called “Safe” I think) you will mainly get through dungeons without too much trouble and can just focus on story. I think the next higher difficulty is “Easy” which would require a little learning curve for a newcomer because the battles are dependent on a little bit of knowledge of weakness exploitation and shuffling around attacks to take advantage of weaknesses. It’s basic JRPG fare though, with fire, ice, wind, lighting, etc. so I’m sure you’d catch on quick. You can turn the difficulty down and up mid game too, unless you go down to “Safe” - once you go down to Safe, you can’t bump it back up. I guess because it is so easy. But it really is no less enjoyable on Safe because of the story, the decisions on how to spend your time each day when not in a dungeon (or palace as they are called in P5), which of your friends and contacts to hang out with and date, etc. The game is just plain long. Not because of grinding necessarily though. Even on Safe mode it’s gotta be 80 hours or so. The game is basically linear, but each day has a measure of openness of how your time is spent.
As far as “eccentric”, we’ll... I don’t think Persona is much more eccentric than a lot of other Japanese games.
She's the only one I felt sorry for turning down. I have a special place for Haru.
@shonenjump86 My man I can see your a man of culture as well. I agree Makoto is the best girl in the game. She's my waifu btw lol.
@TheJoker yes sir, definitely my favorite character in the game.
