Sony and Kojima Productions have released a new Death Stranding trailer -- a 'character spotlight' for Heartman, one of the game's main cast members. Modelled after film director Nicolas Winding Refn, Heartman looks like he'll be something of a confidant to protagonist Sam. The trailer itself actually gives us a little more insight into the kind of cutscene direction that we can expect to see in Death Stranding.
At just over two minutes, there's potentially a lot to unpack here -- as you'd expect of Kojima -- but every video so far has done something to pique our interest, and this one's no different. Death Stranding is still due to release on the 8th November, 2019.

Trailer is intriguing.
Also puzzling that it says 'DS is a SIE trademark' but doesn't say only on ps. 🤔
@JJ2 because when sony and kojima made the deal, a pc version was part of it.
I already like this character
Can't wait fo this to drop.......I wonder if eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer would to better to escape the Konami Umbrella.
As a longtime fan of Refn, it's so bizarre hearing a different voice coming out of his mouth.
that piece of music in the end XD
I have the feeling that we're going to listen to the OST of this game for years and still not get tired of it. So mysterious and so good.
Waiting for November 8 is becoming harder and harder with these new footages.
can't wait to see what's coming up at Gamescom and Tokyo Game Show
Now tell us more about Die-Hardman.
I'm still not sold on Death Stranding but this is a pretty cool scene.
@JJ2 That case is prb for the Japanese Version only the Western Version's Have the Only on Playstation Logo
@Areus Case shot at 2:17 shows an ESRB rating logo not a CERO one, so not JP version but possibly a mock-up.
@Amppari That is still yet to be confirmed. The source of this info did accurately predict the release date for Death Stranding granted, but that doesn’t mean every leak will be accurate. As of now it is still unconfirmed for any platform outside of Playstation.
Death stranding just looks weird to me same as metal gear solid never got that game
@LukeOtisSmith true Metal Gear Solid storyline can be a bit difficult to wrap your head, I've just finished MGS2 again and I still don't fully understand.
Give it a chance, you may think the story is weird but the gameplay will probably be worth it
Fascinating.
cool trailer I think this is going to be a really good game.
