Oninaki is shaping up to be an interesting action role-playing title, and this latest gameplay trailer has piqued our interest when it comes to the character progression side of things. As you adventure through the title's otherworldly environments, you'll level up, befriend new 'daemons', and get your hands on all kinds of treasures. We know it's a cliche, but there's definitely a bit of Diablo to it.
If the trailer's done its job, then you may be happy to learn that there's a playable demo out now on PlayStation Store. The full game releases next month, on the 22nd August.

Very interesting. I like the art style a lot.
Really liking the look of this so far. Downloaded the demo last night, ready to try out on the weekend.
Demo was decent, but it put me off a full price purchase. The combat is slightly janky, the presentation is underwhelming, and there is a curious lack of music throughout. This is one for a deep sale, I think.
@Ralizah it seemed very button mashey to me
@ellsworth004 You can combo your normal attacks with skills to good effect, and enhance your combos with abilities from the skill tree. But I didn't like how you can't immediately cancel from an attack into a dash, even in the super-powered mode. There's a bit of a delay there, and it makes the combat less fluid than I'd like.
Looks like a mash up between Crystal Chronicles and Diablo. I’m interested.
After playing the very underwhelming I am Setsuna, I have some reservations about this studio. Hopefully they will prove me wrong and this game will be awesome.
