Gosh, does anyone else feel like WAYP comes around frighteningly fast? Heck, we’re already up to Issue 280 and it barely feels like yesterday that we kickstarted this feature with chatter about games like… Far Cry 3! Anyway, it’s summer so things are slow at the moment, but here’s what we’re playing this weekend.

Following a failed attempt at trying to get into Mafia III (I got bored about 10 hours in), I've actually started playing Attack on Titan 2, even though I'm not very familiar with the source material. The good news is that it's a lot better than I thought it'd be, especially when you're busy slicing off titan limbs. Hopefully I'm still enjoying it as the weekend progresses.

This weekend I’ll be continuing my nightmare mode run of Trails of Cold Steel as I hunt the Platinum Trophy. All being well I’m hoping to be done by the end of this weekend so I can move onto the sequel next week.

Unfortunately Super Rare Games didn't have a physical PS4 version, but I loved brawling and hacking my way through Wulverblade as Caradoc when it released in January 2018, so I've just ordered a physical copy on Switch, and I'll beat it again on PS4 with a different character, possibly as Guinevere.

Having just achieved the Days Gone Platinum Trophy, I'll be spending my weekend playing the incredibly middling SolSeraph for some reason.

With the doldrums of summer here and the new releases far and between, I have finally had a chance to tackle my backlog. Up first is Rise of the Tomb Raider, which due to some politics I have now finally got to. Other then that might play some Elder Scrolls Online with a few friends this weekend as well.
That's what we're playing, then – but what about you? It's been almost 300 issues, so you should know the drill by now. Drop us your gaming itinerary in the comments section below.

All the games I will be playing are all extremely addictive and will be given the same amount of gaming time..they are..
Ps4:
Dragon Quest Builders 2.
Assassins Creed Odyssey.
Horizon Chase Turbo.
Switch:
Octopath Traveller.
Graveyard Keeper.
Tetris 99.
Enjoy your weekend all.
Fortnite (Switch) - Been playing more with my brothers recently
L.A. Noire (Switch) - Vice desk has had some messed up cases so far
Velocity 2X: Critical Mass Edition (Vita) - Got this for my birthday, so having a go with it.
Microsoft Flight (Games For Windows) - Still on a Let's Play.
Mirror's Edge (Windows Phone) - Still on a Let's Play.
For once in forever I am free of family and playing games. Just finished Gears Of War 4, 1 dungeon away from finishing Wind Waker HD and then might play Stick of Truth or Detroit! Whoop whoop!!
FFVII. About 16 hours in and chasing Sephiroth into a mountain. This game is fantastic can't believe took me 22 years to play it!
wolfenstein the old blood.really great shooter.nazis don't stand a chance😊.and top 5 greatest rpgs of all times.dragon dogma.word life.word to your mother.word is bond.word ☝ up son
Bloodstained Ritual of the night. I just beat that Bloodless lady. Took forever to take her out. Also getting in Samurai Shodown. I got in a few online rank matches. Managed to get in a few wins because my opponent kept jumping at me so I was able to counter. Others will probably be Fist of the North Star, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Dead or Alive 6.
I'm working all weekend so if I'm lucky a few tracks of crash team racing and wipout and if the stars align I might get a few rounds of blackout in on the new modes with friends
currently playing through the Uncharted series again via the Nathan Drake Collection, i started Drakes Fortune yesterday
still a great game
PC: Bloodstained, relatively bad at it and need to grind before trying Zangetsu again.
Vita: After beating Ys 1+2, I played through Ys Origin this week, finally beat both routes so now on the extra third route. I’ll either start the next Ys or start the Danganronpa games as I own the first 2 on PS4 and the 3rd on Vita.
Borderlands 2 DLC with some friends, if they are not about, I will be going through a replay of The Last of Us.
Still working my way through ESO, can't believe it's taken me until this year to actually start it but I'm definetly hooked now. Still can't get a werewolf bite tho
Got my Vita out and enjoying playing through Sly Cooper 1 for the first time. Also really into Danganronpa 1 at the moment. And doing a little bit of Crash Team Racing and Dragon Quest 4 every now and then.
I've started playing Dragon Quest XI again from the beginning. I forgot how good this is, such a lush looking and charming game. Veronica is still boss in it.
I'll also be playing cowgirl in Red Dead Online and creating liveries on GT Sport.
Just finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider + DLC. Deciding whether to do new game plus on deadly obsession for the Plat (and get 3 headshots in 3 seconds) or start the next backlog game. It's going to be AC Odyssey or Final Fantasy XV.
And continuing Persona 5 on my slim upstairs, just finished the 'Vault' palace.
@nessisonett yeah, Zangetsu gave me some problems too. I equipped True Arrow and Gale Crawler and basically just studied his attacks. And if he taunts you don’t even bother attacking him cause it’s s good chance he will block it and strike back. I honestly hope we don’t have to fight him a second time during the play through. Good luck.
I want to get back to Mafia 3 at some point actually for the DLC. The game had a lot of flaws (bugs, terrible AI, repetitive missions), but it also had a lot going for it. The game world was pretty good (if empty), the soundtrack is excellent and the story was also great.
Shadow of War on the PS4, can finally start recruiting orcs
Resident Evil: Code Veronica X on the PS2... About halfway now!
Final Fantasy XIV and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise. The latter is awesome in how OTT it is.
@MightyDemon82 enjoy! Tried 9?
@kyleforrester87 really need to play it again i kinda rushed through and got stuck with under levelled characters.
Trails of cold steel 2 want to get it finished before fire emblem for the switch is out
Still working through finding all Sokolov's Paintings on my 4th playthrough of the classic Dishonored 2 with no guides because I'm in no hurry to platinum a game that will be spoken of years to come. Plus still crafting pelts with the trapper and finding secrets in just another timeless game - RDR2. And then the fun AC Odyssey.
I must say can't wait for my 2nd playthrough of GoW when I'm done with either Odyssey or D2. @ApostateMage are you female or just love playing as women.
Still on the Borderlands 2 rollercoaster, don't want to get off
Lara Croft Go in short segments on the Vita, and Spider-Man on PS4 along with Borderlands 2 DLC. All fun in their own way.
I have so many games that i have never completed. So i have decided that im not buying anymore games until i finish what i have. I have easily over 100 games i havent finished. So final fantasy 15 is getting finished first!
After randomly discovering Graveyard keeper, I will be busy playing that along with Knights of pen and paper and the fantastic God of war. I have only cried about 3 times in God of war. The first game to make me happy with a parent child duo since Dishonored 2 and the last of us.
Joel was basically Ellie's parent xx
More CTR NF. I'm doing the time trials now after 101% the adventure mode. I laugh at N. Tropy's times, but Oxide's are a little tougher.
Playing Judgment still and by that I mean still playing all the arcade games and spending hours in the batting cages. Also playing Mark of the Ninja Remastered, haven't played this since it came out on the 360 and it's still every bit as good now as it was then, amazing game!
@TheArt I just love playing as women. Especially at weekends.
British GP weekend... so F12019 😎
First time playing Bioshock.
Waffling over whether to buy Odin Sphere.
Playing yoshi’s new island on 3DS. I’m travelling and it’s the only game I’ve got with me. It’s okay in short bursts but I wouldn’t want to play continuously for more than about half an hour.
Judgment. Still not even at the halfway point yet as I keep getting pulled away by the mini-games and side cases.
Playing deus ex but finished it and feel unsatisfied any recommendations?
Did enjoy it tho
This weekend I will be playing The Division 2 again. Game badly needs new content though. I'm maxed out and recently got the Eagle bearer so I'm building a build around it. Total in game time is 12 days so maybe that's why I feel so much bored.
Currently playing though Lego City Undercover and man it is so good.
Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest Builders 2
I’m playing Darksiders 3 with the new Wolfenstein next in line.
Darksiders 3 is better than I expected and that’s probably due to just now playing it after multiple patches have released. I play with classic combat as I’m not a big fan of Dark Souls like combat. I enjoyed the first 2 but have a hard time remembering their combat. Even with me choosing classic it still resembles DS but it’s still fun. The only issue I really have with it is trying to use consumables on the fly and reload times after death.
I finished Detroit Become Human today and just started Persona 5 for the first time. I'm 4 hours in and I enjoy it a lot.
I’ll be playing some RDR2. Finally decided to progress the story a bit and dang it hid hard again. I might play some God of War or Dericine or Wileout on VR too. And I’d also be lying if I said I wasn’t gonna play some For Honor too. I have an issue with that game.
FFXIV... I started from the beginning since it’s been a while. If anyone is interested in joining, hit me up, Mirroredcactus.
Suzy Cube on PC, an easygoing 3D Mario-alike. Has me hooked, anyway. Probably a bit of MTGA, a level or two of Bomb Chicken and another session about conquering my fear of trees in Dirt Rally.
Mortal Kombat 11 and Uncharted Lost Legacy for me
Still on GTA V guys. What can I say, it’s a long game! It doesnt help when you have a trophy glitch on you either. Will probably be plugging away at the online for the next month or two before completion.
Been playing Pokemon GO!, finally caught a Corsola!
@ApostateMage especially at weekends reminds me when I was in uni and this guy introduced himself and he was like during the weekends he dresses up as a woman I just loved his humour how many people would introduce themselves to strangers like that lol
completed shadow of tomb raider just few mins ago funny how all dlc content is just main story cut off, with out it game felt meh[story] no character development or whatsoever when it released.
starting mgs v today.
@FullbringIchigo doing the same. That and a bit of Gwent
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and it’s friggin awesome!
