This week sees the release of not one but two new Wolfenstein titles: Youngblood and Cyberpilot. The tangentially related titles will drop on 26th July, with the former introducing co-op to MachineGames’ likeable franchise reboot for the first time. Playing as the so-called ‘Terror Twins’ – the daughters of series protagonist B.J. Blazkowicz – you’ll be tasked with fighting your way through an alternate reality Paris set in the 1980s.
The hook with this edition is the co-op, and purchasing the Deluxe Edition will net you the elegantly named Buddy Pass, which will allow you to pair up with a pal using just one copy of the game. Have a gander at the launch trailer above, and let us know whether you’ll be picking up Youngblood or Cyberpilot this week.

Is young blood actually playable solo? I really enjoyed new order, old blood, and new collusus for the story and single player focus.
@Danloaded I’m also wanting to know if Young Blood can be played solo, I like exploring and going at my own pace in games, when playing co-op I feel like I have to rush for the other player(s). Also with the game priced at £25 I’m thinking it’s going to be really short and almost just like an add-on for Wolfenstein 2.
@MaccaMUFC I've had a quick peek at the trophies for the game and only two seem to be coop focused (complete a mission and revives) so that tells me it should be playable solo
Got Youngblood on Switch and plan to get it on PS4 as well at some point.
And for those asking, I'm pretty sure I remember them saying it's playable solo when they first revealed it.
I think it’s solo with AI caracter. I pre-ordered the version with buddy-pass. Will wait for VR game reviews before buying.
It’s definitely playable solo, looking forward to it and love the fact us in the UK will have the proper unedited version with the Swastikas and everything, it will just feel more authentic I reckon.
@Rick_Deckard I’m pretty sure you will need Nintendo’s online service to play co-op since the game will not have split-screen support.
I'm not a co-op or online play kind of person, but I'm definitely going to give this a go.
Now...what the world really needs is a new Resistance game.
Picking up both, getting Youngblood on Switch.
"lol who even are you?"
🤣
