The one announcement that slipped through our fingers during Geoff Keighley’s Gamescom 2019 showcase: Kerbal Space Program 2 is coming to the PlayStation 4 in Spring 2020. “[The sequel] has been fully redesigned from the ground up to meet the demands of modern and next-generation space exploration, all while maintaining the monumental foundations of the first game,” the press release reads. “Build a space program, construct powerful spacecraft, design resource-gathering colonies, and much more to uncover the secrets of the galaxy.”
The new game will not only be more powerful, it’ll also be more accessible, as there’ll be fresh tutorials and instructions in order to get you up to speed. There’ll also be interstellar travel for you to sink your teeth into. A trailer is embedded above.

Let's hope this one runs better then the first one did.
I knew it was Kerbal about 5 seconds into the trailer. The trailer was absolutely amazing and I am eager to see how the gameplay will go. Hope they have plenty of new additions and features.
I have always been interested in the original but heard it was not the smoothest running game around and never quite purchased it.
If this can improve on it I might finally give it a go. I will have a look at reviews when it comes out.
Great trailer, I've always liked the look of the first, but seemed like one much better suited to PC.
Now that's how you do a cinematic.
