Coming from the creators of Friday the 13th, there are very few surprises in this first gameplay footage of Predator: Hunting Grounds. Due out next year on the PlayStation 4, the title is an asymmetrical multiplayer experience where a teams of four soldiers take on a lone Predator.
The footage is early, but the 1987 movie’s influence is obvious. “We have taken our inspiration from the ‘87 Predator over the other films because we believe it’s the true crown jewel of the IP,” IllFonic’s Jared Gerritzen wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “We hope that fans of the films will see this game as a bit of a love letter to the film. That being said our game takes place a few decades in the future, so we needed to incorporate all the films into the story.”

They really should've saved Little Richard for a more impressive trailer.
What an odd decision to release such a ropey looking clip!
Given Sony's history with first-party multiplayer games this gen, I'm baffled why they're wasting resources on this. And it's from the Friday the 13th devs? Yeesh....
Hmmm thats some ps2/3 graphics lol. Yikes. But boy do i ever love the predator!
Predator needs the aliens isolation treatment
When you wish for a predator game like say Concrete Jungle and you get a envoled clone

I quite like the format. It's a good call I reckon, but it needs at the very least to look a lot better.
Tapping in to the original film for the setting and giving the soldiers their own missions to do dulls the Evolve-ness.
Evolve was pretty good fun though, what I played of it.
