Worldwide Studios chairman Shawn Layden insinuated that Sony would need to lean into a larger install base for some of its multiplayer titles, and it looks like ReadySet Heroes fits the bill. Developed by Robot Entertainment and scheduled for release on 1st October on the PlayStation 4, the title will also be published by the Japanese giant on the Epic Games Store. It’s a brave new world out there.
This game hasn’t got a whole lot of attention since it was revealed during a State of Play, but it actually sounds neat. It’s a competitive dungeon crawler, where you and up to three others will race your way through randomly generated arenas, levelling up as swiftly as possible in order to conquer a winner-takes-all arena brawl at the end.
Pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will net you some in-game cosmetics to customise your character with, as well as a PS4 theme, digital soundtrack, and 10 PSN avatars. There’s a new trailer embedded above. We actually really like the concept behind this one, but we’re sceptical of whether it’s going to find its desired target audience. Time will tell.

LOL. Well PC fanboys begged for Sony games and you got it. As expected nothing but shovelware games, which are popular on PC. Hope it releases on Steam too so PC gamers can fund more AA and AAA PS exclusives for us to play. 😁
Coming to PC but first on Epic game store LOL
