Samurai Shodown's first season of DLC hasn't even started yet, but SNK has already confirmed that the intense weapon-based fighting game is getting a Season 2. Confirmation arrives fresh from Evo 2019 via the trailer that we've embedded above. Season 2 will begin in 2020, and it'll include Mina Majikina, who apparently got first place in a Samurai Shodown popularity poll.

In the meantime, Season 1's characters will arrive month by month starting in August with Rimurumu. September has surprise inclusion Shizumaru Hisame (who's totally free to download for all players), October has Basara, November has Kazuki Kazama, and December has Wan-Fu.
