EA's popular free-to-play battle royale title, Apex Legends, exploded onto the scene back in February, and quickly grew into a real Fortnite contender. Ever since its booming debut, the game has maintained a healthy enough audience, but its popularity has shrunk, despite two new seasons of content from developer Respawn Entertainment. Perhaps in an effort to rekindle interest in the title, the publisher has announced not one but two physical editions.
Coming to retail on 18th October, these special editions of Apex Legends are each based on one of the playable characters: Lifeline and Bloodhound. Both come with two legendary skins and an exclusive banner and badge for their respective legends, as well as 1,000 Apex Coins. These boxed versions of the game are set to cost $19.99.
What do you think of Apex Legends coming to retail? Will you be buying one of these boxed editions? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.

@gamer89 The retail versions usually come with in-game currency that's worth the same as the price of the box. It's pointless for us, but gives the game retail presence, and more ''sales'', i.e. a larger player base.
its basically $20 for a legendary skin, a exclusive banner, a badge and some in game coins. its a rip off and nothing more.
Do they come with discs?
@gamer89 I see it as a better way to give someone who likes the game a gift. This would look better than just handing someone a giftcard.
