Out in just a few days. GreedFall is an action role-playing title that we've had our eye on for months now, and the game continues to feed the hype with a really good launch trailer.
The title sees you travel to an untamed island in the hopes of finding a cure for a plague that's crippled your homeland. GreedFall's developed by Spiders, the French studio behind Bound by Flame and The Technomancer, both of which had some nice ideas, but their execution was flawed on numerous levels. However, this latest project looks a whole cut above the company's previous attempts -- and it's clearly got a bigger budget going for it.
Are you looking forward to GreedFall? Keep an eye out for our review, and let us know if you're ready for a grand adventure in the comments section below.

Oui oui monseiur im looking forward to it.i got to support the French.and this game looks amazing.word up son
Sorry but when someone says Bioware-style game it doesn't conjure positive mental imagery (for me at least) anymore. A company doesn't get to make awful games but then have me think of it fondly just because the game company used to be good. 'Bioware-style game' means something a bit different to many people nowadays, especially after Anthem.
@Ironwright You're right, BioWare's reputation is currently in tatters, but I think when most people hear "BioWare-style RPG" they think of the good old days. Dragon Age Origins, the Mass Effect trilogy, etc.
Here's hoping GreedFall can actually be the BioWare-style RPG we've been waiting way too long for.
@ShogunRok. Dragon age inquisition is the best bioware games to me.word up son
I think I'm going to wait and see.
Was one of the first to jump on "Technomancer" when it came out and boy was that one a bomb.
Although the marketing made it look great, the load times were terrible, the GUI was a travesty, and the overall game play fell flat.
Promised myself to never get caught like that again.
My budget this month will allow me to get "GreedFall" or "Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the White Witch"
I'll wait and see.
@playstation1995 I liked Inquisition too. Feel like it's nowhere near as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.
I am definitely pumped for this title
@ShogunRok. Dragon age inquisition won game of the year .so what are they taling about.the gameplay is way better than Dragon age origins.word up son
From what i remember Pushsquare trashed Technomancer so I expect a low score for this game.
I'm ready for a grand adventure!!! Lets give Spiders a chance, we haven't seen the game yet.
@Eternallover21 Not yet, but we will have either hands on impressions or a full review up in time for launch.
I must admit it looks a lot better than I expected. I ll keep an eye on it.
Edit
Still sceptical with Bound by flame in mind though
WOW!... so far presentation and subject have me on-board.
As for BioWare. Game Studios are like any creative focus company. You always can have an idea go to hell along the way. How it works.
I am looking forward to this but unfortunately my preorder was cancelled earlier today, because apparently a supplier issue means ShopTo won't be getting any stock. Here's hoping that problem hasn't hit any other stores.
I gave Spiders, and Bound By Flame, a chance when it first released for the PS4. People forget that at the time BBF released there were no RPGs or fantasy style games out as of yet, so they rushed it out and filled a little niche. Full of warts, and clearly they were still learning how to do it. From what I can tell they turned enough profit to churn out technomancer and turn a gain on that one as well, learning more about how they want to build games in the process. Hopefully they had enough of a budget with Greedfall to implement all of their ideas and gameplay mechanics into one game, refined and ready for AAA quality. Thus far they have been a AA developer hands down, let's see if they made the leap to the big leagues, or if the same technical issues that have kept them in the AA developer zone continue to pop up.
Correct me if I am wrong but this trailer looks like it is 100% cutscenes(no actual gameplay) how that can excite anybody is beyond me.
Iām really hoping this ends up being good.
@Gumbopudding There already was a gameplay trailer thats why. š
