Blasphemous is out right now on PlayStation 4, bringing with it punishing 2D platforming action and a hack-n-slash style combat system that'll test your skills to the limits. To celebrate the occasion, developer The Game Kitchen has released the game's launch trailer.
Launching to favourable reviews, it looks like Blasphemous is more than worth checking out. Our sister site, Nintendo Life, awarded the game an impressive 9/10, coining it a "beautifully crafted Soulslike/Metroidvania action game".
Spanish developers The Game Kitchen have created a nightmare world in Cvstodia, one that will truly test your combat and platforming skills and leave you begging for more come that final bloody battle.
We'll have our own review to share with you in the future, but until then, it looks like Blasphemous could be very much worth your time. It's available on the PlayStation Store right now for £17.99. Are you purchasing the game today? Fill up your Estus Flask in the comments below.

Wow, where did this come from. It looks like a must pick up for me.
Been vaguely aware of this, but reading the NL review it sounds like a goer.
SOLD! Looks right up my street. Loving the enemy designs as well.
I tried the demo on steam a couple of days ago, it’s good, it’s not easy but not as hard as souls games, and the save point is usually put in good place, like before a boss battle.
I just bought it on switch, I want to try using paypal for paying digital games on switch, although I’m using usa account, my paypal/credit card is from asia. I’m surprised nintendo is allowing me to buy the game since sony reject my paypal account because it’s not from usa.
I did not know pushsquare have a sister.☺.but anyway i love those kinds of games.this game reminds me of castlevania games on the snes and sega genesis.definetly getting this game.word up son
.. if it's anything like Salt & Sanctuary, I'm in! (probably a little more arcade-y, but who cares?!?) with this and Code Vein all we need to do now is... praise the sun!
I'm actually surprised this made it past the aussie censors! (At least for now!). Looks cool & although thankfully not quite as highly priced as River City Girls(AU$45),will probably leave it on my wishlist behind River City Girls & maybe Castle Crashers or couple of others...bit disappointed at the devs of Battle Princess Madelyn atm-insisting "they're still working on the ps4 EU/AU version", but its what they've been saying now for nearing 9 months since it came out worldwide on every other storefront but the EU/AU store?!!
Im am so getring this!
