I only ever bought from Zavvi once. Shortly afterwards, there were fraudulent charges made to my debit card. Never again.
These are pretty cool!
Didn't even realise Zavvi was still going
Yeah these look alright
@Paranoimia they are really bad. I binned em off a decade ago when they sold me a TV box set that had a faulty disc, of course you won't know that until you've watched up to that point and they did nothing to help.
More recently I took a punt on a blu ray having recently bought some cheap amiibo from them with no problems. I tried to cancel the blu ray order within minutes of making it but couldn't because it was already "processing". Got in touch and just got a load of internal company policy. Of course the blu ray arrived and I sent it back with no refund for weeks. I had to open a PayPal case to get it back in the end.
Funny how they sell gaming tat, sorry I mean merchandise when I don't think they even sell any or many games anymore....
@Paranoimia
I remember seeing news stories about zavvi being a nightmare. And game.co.uk as well.
Best avoided I'm sure.
Personally I had problems with shopto. They shipped multiple copies of the same game to both me and a friend on release day and blamed us even though it was clearly on them. Had to go via the bank to get it refunded in the end, shopto were awful.
Not many reliable sites out there with decent customer service strangely. You'd think there would be in 2019.
@LieutenantFatman Personally, I never had any issues with ShopTo... but I don't use them much any more as their prices aren't as good as they used to be.
These days I tend to use either Amazon or The Game Collection. I've had one 'issue' with The Game Collection where a game didn't arrive, and - although they did wait for the full Royal Mail recommended 'delivery window' to pass - they did apologise, and sent out another copy. Can't really fault them so far.
@Paranoimia
Always nice when they apologise.
I use base.com and amazon. No issues so far, although I don't order online very often.
@LieutenantFatman I have had them lose 2 games already with shipping but i got my money back still its a drama. Shop4.nl they ship from england never use a creditcard though. 😉
I buy a lot from Zavvi if it gets lost i just get a refund. 😁
