Tales of Arise caught our attention with its announcement trailer at E3 2019 -- it immediately looked like a step forward for Bandai Namco's long running role-playing series, and the good news is that it continues to look promising.
The game's received a fresh trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2019, and although it's not the most in-depth video, it does give us a glimpse of what's possible with the title's combo-based combat system. If you'll excuse the pun, it's hot stuff.

Looks great! Visually stunning. Such an improvement over the last 2 games since its not being held back by PS3.
I've never played a Tales game, but this continues to look promising.
It looks fantastic day one please make this one good.😆
@WebHead basically what I was going to say. I'm excited they are finally upping the graphics. It looks beautiful. Detailed but still very anime. I'm excited.
So excited for this! Finally a Tales game I will be buying at Day One.The last two games I played were big disappointments and even at an extremely low price in the sales I still haven't bothered picking up Berseria.
This just looks like it's going to be a winner and it's great to be excited over a Tales game again.
I haven’t played a Tales game since Symphonia (which I loved).
The graphics on this look incredible. It has certainly piqued my interest.
@Wazeddie22 Berseria is good, but this looks like a full-on action game instead of an RPG. This feels like Paper Mario all over again...
I really hope this one can recapture that Tales magic. Vesperia is the last one I truly loved, but this could really be a good one from what we’ve seen.
Finally we’re getting next gen tales game, can’t wait for this
Maybe it's just my headphones, but the sound effects during that all-out attack are top tier. Seems they didn't just improve the graphics.
Man numb to pain. Woman whose touch causes pain. I ship it.
