Don’t let the mannequin-esque main character deter you: this Dreams creation gets real impressive real fast. The city scene alone is neatly designed, but once a giant mech rocks up and begins blasting it to bits, the level really begins to up-the-ante. It ends with a Battlefield-esque levelling, which somehow doesn’t tank the title’s framerate.

Not bad for an amateur working with a DualShock 4, eh?

Wow, that's seriously impressive. Not what I was expecting. It looks like people are really getting to grips with Dreams.
Disaster Report, anyone?
Dang, that is impressive. If we make it do some damage as it falls it’ll be even better, though I feel like that would come pretty soon. I wonder how this could change game development in the future, by making it easier or something for a studio to make something ambitious.
When the camera pulls out to show a 3d map of the city, it reminds me of screenshots of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Perhaps Vanillaware should add a Disaster Report mode to their game.
That poor mannequin had no chance
@Jaz007 it's not easier. Elaborate projects like this take an absolute age.
It's more so the fact that it's possible with a ds4. If you pick it up Jaz I can run through the basics with you and give you a head start.
I’m glad Dreams exists. I’m too dumb for it, but I’m happy for those smart enough to know what to do with it.
@themcnoisy I see. And thanks man, I’ll get it eventually and I’ll take you up on that then.
