In case you didn't know, THQ Nordic is a massive fan of overly expensive collectors editions. The publisher has been touting these pricey packages for a number of its upcoming games, such as Darksiders Genesis, Destroy All Humans, and even BioMutant. Next up is SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, as THQ Nordic has announced a duo of special editions for the fan favourite's return. Are you ready, kids?

First up is the Shiny Edition, named after the collectibles in Battle for Bikini Bottom. It includes an 8-inch tall statue of the main sponge himself, complete with a flexible tongue, because why not? The figure is joined by a pair of tennis socks, some lithograph prints, wall stickers, and the game itself. All this can be yours for $149.99. However, if you really want to push the boat out, you could always splash your cash on the next edition:

The F.U.N. Edition includes everything found in the Shiny Edition, but you're also getting statues of co-stars Patrick and Sandy, as well as a set of Tiki keyrings. How much? Just $299.99. You can pre-order both of these right now -- who needs release dates?
