One of Hideo Kojima’s primary accomplices, Ken-Ichiro Imaizumi (pictured far left), has departed Kojima Productions after 20 years. The veteran, who worked alongside the Metal Gear auteur at Konami before helping to co-found his new independent studio of the same name, most recently oversaw all production on PlayStation 4 console exclusive Death Stranding.
While there’s been no confirmation of the reasoning behind his departure, a VGC source claims that it’s down to a disagreement with one of the studio’s other directors. This is all speculation, of course, and it may just be that after two decades in the role, he’s simply looking for a change of scenery. It is telling, however, that he was absent from Kojima’s recent world tour.

Been fultoned back to mother base.
@Nyne11Tyme I'm sure that there are going to be people who actually believe this now. It wouldn't be the first time with Kojima.
@Orpheus79V lol. I think dude is legit. Maybe a little bit of a narcissist but legit.
@Orpheus79V @Nyne11Tyme Maybe after 20 years he just wants to try something else.
He is sticking the V up to Koj in that photo.
