It’s a landmark edition of What Are You Playing This Weekend, and we still haven’t missed a single issue. Which, honestly, if you saw the slapdash organisation that goes into this feature on a weekly basis makes our consistency a small miracle. Anyway, this is a short one because yours truly gave the team about ten minutes to submit their entries. Standard.

I’ve been forced to take a temporary break from Shenmue III as I move house, so I’m actually planning to dig out my PS Vita this weekend. It’ll be strange returning to the handheld format, but I’m looking forward to it.

My parents are visiting this weekend, so there might not be too much free time for games. That said, I’m sure I can sneak in a game or two of eFootball PES 2020.

Since it's Issue 300 of WAYP, I thought I'd play a game with roots in PSone nostalgia, which is also one of 2019's most colourful and fun PS4 releases, so Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled seems a good pick.
It's a brief Issue 300 of WAYP, but it's Thanksgiving weekend so let's flood the comments section, please. What are you playing this weekend? Let us know.

Wow this is early. My answer is the same as the last few weeks... The Witcher 3 for me as I go away from work. Boy this game is mahoosive. Also happy 300 WAYP birthday or whatever.
I was looking through my library and downloaded a few older games, so this weekend is a bit of Jak and Daxter, with some GTA Vice City on the side
Doing a trophy mop up for the Gris platinum (amazing game btw) then back on Death Stranding to continue the post game trophy mop up there. Might hit the batting cages in Judgment for some weekend exercise too!
I'm currently playing through The Witcher 3 for the first ever time on PS4 (I have a simultaneous playthrough on Switch happening but I need those trophies!), and I'm absolutely loving it!
Going through each of the star ocean games again for the platinums
I going to finish the story on AC Odyssey this weekend and this time I really, really, really mean it. (Hopefully).
Especially as Control and Concrete Genie have joined DS and Jedi in waiting to be played.

Taking a break from death stranding, thanks to black friday I got a lot of games. For ps4 I got dmc 5 and re2 remake special edition from psn, for switch I got sonic mania, bloodstained curse of the moon (already have both games on ps4 but I want to play it on portable), capcom beat up and contra collection

Good luck with the house move @get2sammyb
I've got a busy weekend so won't be playing much myself. Need to get back to Afterparty and Death Stranding at some point soon though
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition!
i'll be spreading my time between:
FINAL FANTASY on the PS Vita, yep the FIRST one (PSP Version)
FINAL FANTASY XIII on the PS3, just grinding CP for the final boss
FINAL FANTASY XII Zodiac Age on PS4, doing some hunts
and FINAL FANTASY XV on XBOX ONE, i platinumed the PS4 version and now i'm going for the 10000 gamerscore on the XBOX version
so basically a whole lot of FINAL FANTASY
i also got KINGDOM HEARTS III on XB1 to complete my collection (already done the PS4 version) so i might also play that a little
Congrats on the milestone Push Square! I'm halfway through Spider-man (and loving it). Thanks to Black Friday PS Store sale I've got the likes of Resident Evil 2 and Red Dead Redemption 2 waiting in the wings 😁 Great time to be a gamer, that's for sure! If only I had more time to play... Also, despite my doubts, I'm considering buying a PSVR bundle with 5 games. Can anyone comment on playing non-VR games in cinematic mode? I saw conflicting opinions on image quality online, buy playing any game an a big screen with 3d audio seems appealing to me.
I bought my first house in August and was sitting in some money to blow this week. My 13 year old 32 inch LCD with £30 Logitech speakers has been upgraded to a 65 inch OLED, along with a Sonos Beam and two Sonos One speakers for surround sound.
Been playing the campaign of Star Wars Battlefront II to test it out which might seem like an odd choice but in the new year I’m planning to pick up one of those Phillips Hue boxes that changes your hue lights based on what’s on the screen, so holding a few games like Infamous Second Son back for that.
Happy 300th, I'm heading back into Odyssey been missing my girl Kas. Also aiming to complete the Raven a quick little detective story with a character based of Agatha Christie. 😂😂😂
There's a lot that I want to play this weekend. Probably won't get round to playing half of the things I'll mention here, but here goes. Firstly I'd like to play lots more Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Super Mario Maker 2 on my new Switch.
Also been neglecting some other games since getting the Switch, but would like to change that, and get back to playing Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Bayonetta 2.
And I wasn't going to mention it, but as it's the cover picture I'll say it. I was also thinking about more Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled. I've already unlocked the new characters in the current grand prix and did Tropy's time trial, but I'm wanting to try out the new Ring Rally mode on each track.
Just finished NG+ on GOW, now I'm going Valkyrie hunting, whooped Kara and saved her from the corruption. I'm about to whoop Gel-something next.
Placed a Predator bait in the woods near Shady Belle as I watched a perfect pelt Panther approach it, then sniped his poor self, oh the satisfaction in the methodical RDR2.
Plus continuing the hard but enjoyable Volta in FIFA 20 and my career with Bayern. I keep skipping a lot of stuff in Career, the offpitch stuff just doesn't interest me that much.
@carlos82 I also booted up San Andreas the other day. Rockstar games are timeless.
Congrats on the 300. THIS IS SPARTA!
I've started playing the very impressive Resident Evil 2 Remake but it's a darkly lit game meant to played at night so I'll be playing the usual Red Dead Online during the daylight hours.
Still working away at Bioshock remastered, long time since I played it on PS3 so all the memories are coming flooding back. Otherwise still working up to starting a new Witcher 3 file on death march difficulty, if I can find a spare 100hrs...
Still playing my Arcade 1up with the Marvel games. For PS4- Samurai Shodown, Dead or Alive 6 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Concrete Genie, final chapter of fists of the north star, Mario Party and My Friend Pedro.
Probably going to jump back into Pokemon Shield after breaking to play other stuff.
Nothing ! Working unfortunately . Retail life = (
Almost finished Nioh, got to Sekigahara which is incredible. Beat The Outer Worlds in three days through Game Pass on PC this week and loved it so might try Fallout New Vegas.
I'm still playing Iceborne. But whenever I'm not, I'm playing Judgment. I love the Yakuza games and Judgment is such an amazing spin off. The story is fantastic.
Yoku’s island express. After all the story driven RPGs i’ve been playing recently it’s nice to play some relaxing pinball.
Since I finished Indivisible during the week (great game), I shall continue my foray as Sir Dan in MediEvil.
Still AC: Odyssey. Since September. 165 hours in. Loving it.
Death stranding, going for the platinum and rebuilding roads and repairing other porters structures as i move around!
Zanki Zero yet again will be taking most of gaming time which I'm absolutely loving and I really hope they make a sequel.
But I'll also be playing Luigi's Haunted Mansion 3 on Switch which I received on my birthday and I may even start Life Is Strange 2 which I bought in the sale.
Oh and congrats on WAYP 300 Edition!
Congrats on the 300th WAYP!
I’ll continue with Mass Effect: Andromeda after putting up the decorations. Really enjoying this, love the whole mysterious nature in the game like the seemingly abandoned Ark, the lost arks that need to be tracked down and the decimated outposts on the first planet. Really has me hooked I have to say. Game looks great too. Hoping I get some more CoD in as well
300! Wow!
Took down a massive 40 foot tree for a client yesterday, so if I can get that cut up and hauled away today, then I will be drinking beer and playing days gone! Followed by more beer and football (ahem, I mean NFL, for you non-americans haha) tomorrow. Hope you fellow Americans had a nice Thanksgiving!
I’m still playing Death Stranding. I just got to chapter 6, and the game is seriously surpassing all of my expectations. I was not expecting all the various types of equipment you’re able to receive, and how much customization you can do. This game is honestly phenomenal.
Might try the remote play feature on my new laptop that I picked up on Black Friday other then that it will be WoW Classic for me.
Working a lot, but probably some Disney Infinity with the kids and Shenmue III if I actually get any time to myself.
Congrats on the 300!
@playstation1995 definitely up there with my favourite games of all time and probably still my favourite GTA. Sure the mechanics have improved since but the whole package of this with the atmosphere, the music and even the businesses working in game.
@TheArt that they are and their worlds really are a level above everyone else
Borderlands 3
Final Fantasy 12 HD and maybe Lego Avengers on PS4
Far cry 5 for me
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Slowly getting through the game.
Grats on the Sparta achievement.
I"m still playing mailman in Death Stranding and enjoying it. I also picked up 5 games all under $20 Black Firday. I will have things to carry me through many more weekends.
@NYJetsfan123. Word ☝ up son
Yakuza 0. Great game. Never played Yakuza games but it's fun and really interesting.
Hurrah for 300 and counting.
For me, I'm a freshly certified Switch owner, so don't hate me. I think I'll be running through Fire Emblem: Three Houses today, as I barely got any time with it yesterday.
@carlos82 tempted to buy jak and daxtor but worried the graphics may have aged badly
I’ll be playing shadow tactics and resident evil 4. Shadow tactics is a great strategy game similar to commandos but set in edo japan.
Playing a bit of the witcher 3 on the go.
Days gone., I am 2 hours in... it is as generic as it gets... story is not at all well narrated, Cut scenes are really bad... but even with all that im havin a good time playing it.
@MJKatana It was a strange choice not to use the HD versions of Jak and Daxter from the PS3 and these PS2 classics are pretty barebones in terms of simply upping the resolution. This means that we're still stuck with the PS2's anisotropic filtering which is literally a foot in front of your character leaving it looking a bit blurry at times as those old textures are smeared across the screen. Having said that it still looks pretty decent, owing to its brightly coloured cartoony aesthetic, superb animation and its 60fps gameplay, just a shame they didn't give us the HD remaster instead
on my way to platinum 64. FFXV
Eso as always. Help I'm addicted lol
Death stranding for me, not far from getting platinum, this maybe be my last weekend with the game.
Monster Hunter World. Loving it thus far.
I began Fallout 4 on Thursday so hope to get an hour in tonight, have never got past 50% completion on any Bethesda game despite owning them all. I'd like to get into this, I've had it for 4 years shrinkwrapped so it's time has finally come.
Megaquarium and Habroxia
