And there we have it. Following a long stint in early access and a potential leak, we now have the final release date for Media Molecule's Dreams at last. The impossibly huge creation engine received a wonderful new trailer during the latest State of Play broadcast, and right at the end, we got that elusive date we've all been waiting for.
Dreams releases on PlayStation 4 on 14th February, 2020. Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
Early access is now over and you can no longer purchase that version of the game, but it's good to know that the full version is just a handful of weeks away. Are you excited for the final release of Dreams? Let your dreams come true in the comments below.

They are all community creations apart from the cyberpunk runner in the middle.
I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really hope there is a good Story mode in this game and not just make your own or just play other peoples stuff(even tho other people's stuff look Amazing) Like LBP games have a fun Story mode(even tho the 3rd one was to short) and that would make me buy it. But I can't tell so far if it will have one. I hope it will
@themcnoisy Wow really? I was blown away by that trailer.
I should really get back into it. I hope the full game has a better selection system than the current one, it's a bit too wonky for me. Though to be fair I think they updated it but I haven't been back in since then. Some of the ones I played were fun, but so short, like 5 or 10 minutes, and I'd rather spend my time playing a longer game. Hopefully some of these will get fleshed out. Creating cool looking stuff is great and all, but Id' rather play a game for a couple of hours.
So, anybody try to pre-order it yet? I'm really curious about the price. Looked on Amazon and PSN but nada. Really looks like they'll at least have a boxed retail version though judging by that pic at the end.
Oh wait, haven't' check twitter yet, BRB.
Well nothing about the price on twitter, just people mentioning that there is still no mention of PSVR anywhere including on the box.
Oh well, 2 steps forward, 1 step back I suppose. Maybe they'll let us Early Access purchasers get to update to the full version before the disc hit the shelves.
@rjejr It's £34.99 / $39.99 digital. If you have the early access version, you'll be upgraded to the full, final game for free.
@Quintumply Thanks for that. That's what I figured it would be. Just curious, we bought Early Access day 1, nice to know we saved $10.
@Carl-G story mode confirmed. You play as a character called “Art”
Just as a heads up, PSVR support won't be there day one MM's community manager confirmed to Upload VR
