Bravely Default 2 was the only interesting announcement for me. Glad Revo is back. They did a great job with the music in the original.
I'm crazy excited for a new dark Alliance!
No mention of Sons of the Forest?
That trailer for Ghosts was 🔥🔥!
I can't believe this is on current gen hardware! The PS4 is going out with a bang in 2020! LOU2, Ghosts and Dreams!
Yikes, cant say i care about any of that. Oh well, no biggie. Theres a lot of cool stuff coming
So no new Crash Bandicoot game, and no Smash Bros character reveal either. That's partly why I try to avoid all leaks and rumours. Either they're wrong and I end up disappointed, or they're correct and I'm underwhelmed by the official announcement since we already knew about it.
Anyway, not much particularly exciting for me. I'll be sure to check out what they announced for Ghosts of Tsushima and Bravely Default 2 later.
First of all, Liam, this is not a thing with you or any kind of attack. It's just my thoughts on the matter: Nobody is going to talk about the game of the year that is not a 10, and the fact that the only game that got 10 in 10 this year is not? This just comes to me as proof that, although DS can be almost like a really advanced interactive movie very well made (it won all the awards that exist in movies, btw), as a game is not very good.. As an experience, a new and different one, maybe.
But it's branded as a game. Not as an experience. (yes, I know, games are experiences, but I think you get what I mean)
I still feel that if the same game was made by a different person, it would never, ever, get the scores it had.
Still no biomutant release date?
Disappointing.
seems like i didn't miss anything.
@LowTech Fair point
Delighted for Sekiro <3

@LowTech I agree if it was not Kojima maybe a 7 or 7-5.
@Number09 I saw the trailer. Just curious why push square made no mention of it in a article of “all” game show announcements
Green Day and beat saber that sounds awesome!
@BamBamBaklava89 It wasn't announced for PS4.
"We've gathered together every PlayStation 4 headline from the show in the list below."
@LiamCroft weird. Didn’t realize the Hellblade sequel was coming to playstation.
@BamBamBaklava89 Did I say it was? Xbox Series X is a headline which has a direct impact on PlayStation.
@LowTech It's not about who made, except for the fact that others may not have been able to pull it off, but assuming the same exact game was made by someone else, it would be regarded the same I believe.
And it's an amazing game. The mechanics for carrying are very thought out and deliver a surprising amount of satisfaction. There are consequences to how you do your job. The monotony and work aspect ground you in the world and work wonders for the narrative. Many things that couldn't work outside of a game. Unless by game you basically mean they have to be a fun Just Cause type experience where it's "screw art and narrative, how much normal fun am I having?" I think the issue comes from placing a strange limit on what game is as opposed to what a game is defined as. A game's primary purpose does not need to be fun. It's defined by it's interactive nature.
@Jaz007 I see your point of view but I just don't agree with it. I have the game, but I'm sorry, for me it's not that good.
But I agree with you, a game doesn't have to be fun to be good. But boring is boring, and for me, most of the time, the game's boring.
