Heads up Ni no Kuni fans: the franchise's animated movie can be streamed on Netflix starting today. The film is available at the time of writing on the UK and US versions of the service, following a set of new characters on a journey within the same universe as the two games.
Ni no Kuni comes with an English dub and tells the story of two teenagers that "go on a magical quest to save the life of their friend and her counterpart from another world." Love is said to complicate their journey, however. Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose directed the film, so those in love with the arthouse will want to tune in for this one.

Yup, looking forward to watching this one. I love Studio Ghibli, so any involvement from current or former employees / freelancers is good in my book
Well will defo be checking this out love the studio ghibli stuff. Hopefully will be good. Need to watch the witcher too, watched the first episode but it was a little slow although did pick up in the end of ep 1, will defo finish it though.
@Daleaf I loved the short but sweet sword action at the end when he destroyed that group.
@Kidfunkadelic83 yea it was pretty sweet in the end. Have you watched the whole series yet? If yes can you tell me if it is worth carrying on with as im on the fence with it. Its not bad but its not great either but might just be a slow burner hopefully.

@Daleaf yeah I did the lot in almost 1 sitting. It was good in an ok way but I'd have liked it a little darker. Some episodes are better than others. It doesnt compare to the game imo but I do think it's worth a watch especially as it's only 8 episodes.
@Kidfunckadelic cool, will probably give it few episodes now, was thinking of watching a film but finding a decent film these days is hard, takes about an hour to find something half decent lol. I think this 1st season is just an intro for people who maybe havent read the books or played the games hopefully the next season gets a little darker and better.
