Games have the power to take us to places we’ve never been before, and upcoming PlayStation 4 adventure Draugen has certainly picked a unique setting for its story. Pitched as a “fjord noir mystery”, the title takes place in 1920s Norway, as American protagonist Edward Charles Harden travels to the picturesque nation in search of his sister.
Along the way, he’s accompanied by his enigmatic ward Lissie, as you uncover a narrative through the eyes of an “increasingly unreliable narrator”. This is a story-driven experience, so expect lots of exploration and interaction through a “realistic and dynamic dialogue system”. There’s also a weather system which changes the scenery as you progress.
While the title’s already available on PC, it’ll drop on the PS4 on 21st February. You can watch a trailer above.

I’m not a diehard fan of these walking simulator type games but for some reason every single one of them makes me want to experience them so bad. Maybe it’s the photographer in me. They always have picturesque scenery’s.
Maybe? The most interesting thing for me about this one would be that I enjoyed Ragnar Tornquist's work on The Longest Journey.
Lmao why would u put Ole is at the wheel haha
Didn't they make Dream fall?
looks interesting but digital only = no buy.
Love it will be playing this one!
Definitely on my radar now. It looks beautiful and the story intriguing.
Is this the first walking sim where there’s actually an NPC in the world who isn’t dead or a hologram?
My favorite parts of BioShock Infinite were just wandering while Elizabeth commented on things, so I may have to get this.
