If you're hyped about Cyberpunk 2077 but you can't wait until September to satisfy your Blade Runner needs, you're going to want to check out Cloudpunk. This top-down title has all the neon, futuristic vibes you could possibly hope for -- complete with flying vehicles. It's heading to PlayStation 4 later this year with an announcement trailer above to give you a glimpse of what to expect.
The PlayStation Blog goes into more detail. Inspired by the likes of Disco Elysium and Kentucky Route Zero, you will spend a single night in the city of Nivalis. "The main plot of Cloudpunk follows the ordinary life of delivery driver Rania during her first nightshift in the city." Interestingly, the game won't feature any sort of combat or RPG mechanics. It's much more about exploring the district in front of you and interacting with the characters you meet.
This is shaping up to be a neat little indie title indeed, one that we'll be keeping our eye on for sure in the coming months. Have you been looking for a game that looks like Blade Runner? Does this one take your fancy? Let us know in the comments below.

This looks really neat.
Nice.
Looks pretty chilled out.
My avatar is all you need to know about why I'm interested in this.
Nivalis? Isnt that a planet in Ratchet and Clank? I love the top down/isometric view. Decent reviews and i will get this
Is this open world? Like could I just drive around the city for as long as I could?
Voxel-based design has come a long way.
In some ways, one can compare it to sprite progression. We started with almost Atari-level quality in our Voxels. Next came the NES-quality Voxels. Then SNES-quality Voxels.
Now we seem to hit PS1/N64-level Voxels.
Can't wait to hit current-gen fidelity built all in Voxels.
Looks pretty good. I'm interested.
Looks pretty cool.
Better than that goose game anyway.
😉
Definitely one I want to check out. Love the presentation. Looks really promising.
