It has been a long, long time coming, but Bungie has confirmed that Trials of Osiris will finally be making its triumphant return to Destiny 2 next month. The hardcore, 3v3 multiplayer mode will be available to all players on PlayStation 4 from 13th March.
Revealed in an all-new Dev Insight video, the team talks of making sure it is done right. The entire sandbox has been looked at to ensure it is balanced correctly and doesn't launch half-baked, while abilities, weapons, and armour have been tweaked to mitigate the chances of something becoming overpowered. "To make sure it is as fun and as fair as possible", designer Eric Smith explains. To celebrate the return, Bungie is bringing back various maps from the original Destiny -- including Cauldron, Exodus Blue, and Anomaly. Players will also have the chance to earn the first Trials gear set all over again, which react in a certain way should you go flawless.
Again, Trials of Osiris returns on 13th March. Are you hyped about it? Let us know in the comments below.

As someone that played thousands of hours between this game and the first one, I can safely say this will not fix the current state of the game.
A title that aims to be free to play but really is fleecing it's players with the new barebone season model - with the season pass gimmick included - contributing absolutely nothing but the same washed down recycled "horde-lite" activity, returning weapons and armour and maps while actual endgame is left to one raid with the same ol mechanics every year at this point while all the new and exciting looking gear is only available in the cash shop - this franchise is a slap across the face of the players that stuck by it and made it what it is today.
also selling cash shop items at the exact same price for free players and also players that paid full price for all games and season passes in advance, no incentive or reward to buy the full game and earn cash shop silver and silver dust to make earning these items easier, nope, if you paid full price for everything you still have to spend the same as a free player, awful
Sandbox balanced correctly and Bungie are words that should never be put near each other. Bungie are useless at balancing their game. Always have been.
I was really into Destiny 2 for a couple of months but it's hugely unbalanced and you just keep seeing the same guns over and over. Not fun really at all.
Game is still great mechanically but it's going to take a lot more to suck me back in after thousands of hours. I still pop in every once in a while for a strike or 2 or a gambit match but many of the new things they've added are just variations of the same thing. Though my son's have really gotten into it as of late and it's awesome to watch them play together and figure things out. Doubt we'll get anymore season passes unless there are some bigger additions
