If that lead image doesn't manage to grab your attention then we're not entirely sure what will. My Friend Pedro looks set for a PlayStation 4 release later this year after a European rating cropped up on PEGI's website -- following up on its launch across PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One last year. Expect it to launch on the PlayStation Store in the coming weeks.
My Friend Pedro is described as "a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man’s struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana." A strange description indeed, but it's one that has most definitely caught our attention. Our buddies over at Nintendo Life rated this one a 7/10 when it launched on Switch, claiming that the game "delivers on its promise to provide you with an almost endless variety of ways with which to carry out the flashy brand of OTT violence that’s had gamers eagerly awaiting its release." You don't actually play as the banana, unfortunately.
Are you looking forward to checking out My Friend Pedro on PS4? Perform a flashy move in the comments below.

The picture alone has me intrigued
F***ing FINALLY!
Devolver's Ninty favouritism is annoying.
@viciousarcanum
Why? Developers are clearly making money on that platform.
Nice, it's a really good game, I've played it on xbox gamepass pc but I want to play it on my tv with ps4. I really recommend this game if you like great stylish 2D shooter.
@SaikoWaifu2003 it launched on xbox gamepass day 1 a few months after nintendo switch.
Devolver digital always has exclusive deals around.
During the ps3 era they had a playstation 3 and pc exclusive era where no one else got there games.
Talking about the game it's pretty meh bad controls any irritating control bugs ruined it for me.
Would not give it higher then a 5.8/10
@SaikoWaifu2003 yes because it's better selling on switch.
Nintendo owners are mostly known for buying games blindly like the zelda/yoshi/kirby games.
Even though they were bad games they still sold.
Now if we could only get Cuphead. One can dream...
I played this at launch on Switch and I enjoyed it but found it the controls a bit fiddly and you really need to master them to make the moves look as good as the trailer. Fun though, defo worth some time.
@The_ghostmen bit harsh, I blindly buy just about every mario game.... having said that bar the mario games my switch is an ornament
Good.
Now Ape Out please.
F YEAH my dudes. I was interested in this game since the insane DD conference. Glad it's coming to where it should be so we can get some trophies
