Cult animated series Samurai Jack is getting a new PlayStation 4 game this summer, with ex-Team Ninja leads taking charge. Adult Swim Games has partnered with Soleil to bring the cartoon to Sony’s system, as part of an all-new adventure which will tie into the “epic series finale”. The plot will be penned by series head writer Darrick Bachman, as per an IGN interview.
“Team up with trusted allies from the show to face off against familiar enemies,” the press release reads. “Visit classic worlds and moments from your favourite episodes. Travel to a dark future to free mankind. Dive into the past to face off against terrifying monsters. Seek your fate as you travel across space and time. Equip and master over a dozen different weapons in combat. Increase your power even more by training and unlocking new skills to support your playstyle.”
More information will be announced as part of a PAX East 2020 panel this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled for that. In the meantime, check out the first trailer embedded above.

Is this a remake of the ps2 original? Either way I'm in. I loved this cartoon and never saw this coming
I got excited for a second before I realized the game is in 3D.. it looks really well done, but what makes this series so visually striking is the strong 2D design. I want to see a game that looks as gorgeous as the cartoon series.
Isn't this game made by the Shinobi Striker team?
Looks clean could be really fun.
@SoulsBourne128 yes it is
@Flaming_Kaiser Same. Adult Swim games are usually good, and at their worst they're alright. So I'm hopeful for this game, and this is especially coming from a Samurai Jack fan (the season finale was a bit of a mess imo).
@SoulsBourne128 Yeah i ruined my Bluray box because i read the ending somewhere by accident what a moron. 😩😔
The only way I'll buy this is if there's a dedicated button that makes Jack yell; 'WHO ELSE WANTS SOME!'
I love Samurai Jack, so I'm sure I'll love this game.
