The first major DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has been outed by the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Weekly Famitsu. It'll be called 'A New Awakening: Part 1 - Whis' Training', and it'll be part of the game's season pass.
Apparently, you can play this DLC episode either before or after the end of the main story. It'll task you with fighting against strong opponents -- including Whis himself -- in order to earn loads of experience points. But perhaps most excitingly, you'll be able to unlock Goku's Super Saiyan God form, which reportedly opens up new special moves and finishers. And yes, you can take this newfound power back into the main game, which is cool. Oh, and it sounds like Beerus may show up as well.
We expect to hear much more about this DLC very soon through official Bandai Namco channels. But until then, complete your own training in the comments section below.

Can't wait to unleash the Super Saiyan God form against Frieza on Namek.
Looks like the data mine was right so once again a bunch of idiots with too much time on their hands has spoiled things for everyone else
@Deadlyblack This training is gonna screw the timeline completely. Imagine Goku immediately breaking every bone in Raditz's body as soon as he tries to grab Gohan.
@ShogunRok timeline smimline, i wanna kick ass as a SSJGod
@FullbringIchigo Hopefully we'll get the ability to replay story missions soon.
@ShogunRok isn't that supposed to be released at the end of the month?
@FullbringIchigo All I know is it was mentioned as part of an update (a way to go back in time and replay missions). I haven't really been keeping up outside of that.
@ShogunRok it's out tomorrow
