I’m agonisingly close to being comfortable writing my MLB The Show 20 review, so just sit tight and it’ll be live. I’m also planning to play FMV title The Complex a couple of times, ahead of its embargo lifting next week.

Once again, I'm down to cover a couple of small-scale games for Mini Reviews, so that's what I'll be putting most of my focus into. First up is Creature in the Well, a sort-of action and pinball hybrid, and second is Biped, a co-op puzzle platformer about a pair of cutesy robots. Looking forward to checking out both.

I'm lightsaber deep in reviewing the port of Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The plus side is I love these games, but the downside is I've barely even touched DOOM Eternal yet, and I'm not okay with that. I’m gonna have to spend some time with that this weekend, too. And I need to make some time for that Predator: Hunting Grounds as well. Predator is one of my favourite franchises, and I loved Illfonic's last licensed game in Friday the 13th. Here's to hoping this is great, too.

You’d think I’d be spending this abundance of free time ploughing through my hefty backlog – but no. Instead, I’ve found myself relentlessly chasing wins in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Warzone mode and clocking some serious playtime in Overwatch.
Those are the games keeping us busy this weekend, what are you planning to play? Wash your hands, close your doors, and let us know in the comments section below.

I’ll be playing, and really quite enjoying, Animal Crossing. I’ll also be playing some more of the Bravely Default 2 demo. Only a couple of weeks until FF7R!
Oh yeah if anyone wants to do the friend request thing on Switch for AC then cool. (Except you @Octane.)
I'm going to be collecting the last five ancestral weapons in FF15. Getting close to platinum now and would like to wrap this up in the next week. Some Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville and may start Far Cry 5 which I picked up from the current PSN sale.
Doom 2016.the division .and dark souls 3. 3 highly addictive games.word life word is bond word to your mother.word ☝ up son
control dlc "the foundation".
love the game and so far liking the dlc a lot.
but mostly waiting for resi 3.
Still tlou remaster on ps4, man ellie is a killing machine in this game lol, can't wait to play the sequel. On pc, assassin creed odyssey and river city girls, bought farcry 4 and 5 but I want to format and change the drive path of my old hdd first.
Team Sonic Racing and Child of Light!
Put some time into Control this morning and still really enjoying it despite ‘the anchor’ kicking my butt several times before I managed to beat it.
Having got the Platinum in Death Stranding yesterday I’m going to start toying with the slopes in Steep and carry on with Asterix this weekend also.
Working but trying to squeeze in more jedi fallen order and liberty city. Also pondering buying animal crossing to play with my daughter, got to do something over the next twelve weeks right? Stay the f%$k at home people 😂
I bought Ghost Recon Breakpoint in the sale and I must say, it's much better to play without all that gear score nonsense. Still a buggy mess, though. Also some Kingdom Come Deliverence which is rather very good with some cracking quests.
Resident Evil 3 next week!
Super Smash Bros. (N64) - Been working on trying to unlock Ness and complete the boarding the platforms challenges.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (3DS) - I was going to play 007, but this just came in the post....
Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles HD (Windows Phone) - Those sewer levels can rot in hell...
Just got all the Division 2 missions done on hard so with that out of the way I'll be flitting between Creature in the Well and AC Brotherhood.
Still ME:Andromeda with some Dirt Rally 2.0 and WRC 8 on the side. Stay safe guys!
Damn,I've only been off a week and I really need my exercise..walking around indoors does not make up for five or six hours worth of walking on my job..
Anyway, while I'm not moving around I'll be playing the excellent Animal Crossing,StarDew Valley and Trails Of Cold Steel 2.
Have a good weekend all and stay indoors..and wash your hands until they are raw like mine.
I am playing The Last of Us for the very first time. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.
It's quite a mix of games for me. Playing through the expansion of Hitman 2 (2018), and currently Agent 47 is trying to make a withdrawal from a bank. Also continuing with Super Smash Bros Ultimate, rather far through the world of light mode now. Then there's Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, let's see if I've got the courage to battle the newly added variants of Brachydios and Rajang. Also there's new characters to unlock in Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled, including a secret one that requires breaking a hidden crate in every track. Then there's the free trial of Arms, so I'll give that a go and see what I think of it.
Moving back and forth between Animal Crossing and Control, enjoying both very much!
FFXV still. I would be playing Pirate Warriors 4 but it seems it's been delayed in the post thanks to that bloody virus.
Edit: No sooner do I post that than it arrives. Time to go on an adventure. 🚣♂️
All Horizon ultra hard mode and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All Horizon ultra hard mode and no play makes Jack a dull boy. All Horizon ultra hard mode and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
@Wazeddie22 You could get an exercise bike. This is my setup at the moment. Cycling like mad during all those long car journeys in FFXV is great, it's like I'm pedaling the car around. 😆
Been playing Animal Crossing in short bursts, & hoping to get back into Doom Eternal as it hasn't quite grabbed me yet. Playing it the other day actually made me feel queasy, had to play Two Point Hospital just to feel better.
Ohh & some more Two Point Hospital😁
I think I'm roughly halfway through Doom Eternal. Absolutely loving how fast paced the combat is. As someone that loves games like Quake 3 and UT2k4, this speed is so good.
@Adol_Xin Child of Light is so good!
@Wazeddie22 tell me about it, I absolutely need to get out for my state sanctioned recreation period today. The bikes ready to go when I am...
Predator hunting ground demo.and watch some movies.doom annihilation.and childs play not a bad movie.but i like the 1988 version better.the first one is legendary.be safe yall.word up son
Torn this weekend. Persona 5 Royal arrived yesterday so i ploughed an hour into that, but im reluctant to start it properly given Final Fantasy 7 is out in a couple of weeks (i already put over 100 hours into that)
I will probably play some Life is Strange 2 to try and get that one done in time for the FF7 release
Just tried Predator Proving Grounds on my regular PS4. This game have really choppy framerate it's unplayable for me. Played as Predator and couldn't shoot anyone moving, because of this FR issues. I was really hyped to preorder this, but after I saw and try gameplay - I'm out. Reminds me of Evolve on PS4, that really was great game with bad framerate.
Well more Far Cry 5 on Xbox, playing Killzone on PS2 and some more Shovel Knight on 3DS
With what happening/spreading around the world right now, I got plenty of free time all of the sudden, which I really need to get use to. Therefore, finally dives into the world of Death Stranding & been playing it almost non-stop ever since. Already in Chapter 7 currently.
This game is unique, simple yet challenging, repetitive & grindy yet very much addictive. Can't pointed out what or why, but I, personally, can't get this type of feeling from other games that I've played. Love this game so much.
With the current world situation, the phrase of "Keep on keeping on" seems ideally suitable for everyone at this trying time around the globe.
Keep on keeping on, everyone.
Hunt: Showdown as much as possible. More people need to try this game!
Control. Its £19.99 on the store until April 1st. Couldn't resist. Its excellent. If you like Twin Peaks and The X Files you'll love it.
@M1359 Same. Just started Clone Wars so I've got a lot of viewing ahead of me.
@Matroska Not a bad setup! Unfortunately I don't really have enough room in our house for one of those..which to be honest is the reason we got rid of our exercise bike last year!
I still have wii fit set up so that will have to do.
@Kyleforrester87 Exactly,we are all in the same boat but some of us are feeling it alot more than others! At least last time I was off work sick for a few months I could go for walks which helped me recover but until recently i was walking the dog until I was told I shouldn't even be doing that!
@Mergatro1d I would if they released it on the PlayStation store in my country.
Replaying one of my old janky favourites The Raven, with the bumbling knock off Poirot. Also aiming to plays some more Sims 4 and possible starting my Yakuza backlog.
Just started Nioh 2. Having fun, seems a little easier to me than dark souls and I love the scenery and environment.
Last of Us remastered, I had it for a long time just got around to playing it.
Some nostalgia from PS1 & PS2 games:
1. Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix PS1
2. Dance Dance Revolution EXTREME Japan PS2
3. Bomberman Battles PS2
@Breekhead that sucks. Where are you?
Final Fantasy X and Tomb Raider. Probably more VR to keep active as well!
Doom Eternal - having initially struggled with some of the platforming/jumping elements of the game, I’m getting the hang of it now and everything is starting to click together. Finally got around to starting Ghost Recon Breakpoint, now they’ve given us the option of playing without all that gear score nonsense. Also still playing Dead Cells, and Red Dead online, where I’ve just started my moonshine business.
RDR2, SFV, Fallout 4. I wish I could start Skyrim SE too for the 100th time, but I deleted it and have to redownload and download speeds haven't been the best recently.
Going to try and finish star wars this weekend, and maybe some warzone or two point hospital in between. Might put the last of us on at some point too havent played it in a while now and getting an itch to play it again.
I picked up Pirate Warriors 4. I didn't have have high expectations given how underwhelming Koei-Tecmo's latest offerings have been, but holy crap, this is the best Warriors game in years.
Samurai Shodown, Dead or Alive 6, Street Fighter V, and Tekken 7 for PS4. Animal Crossing on Switch.
Persona 5, what an addictive game!
Just started my third Palace and loving almost every second of it. Challenging at times but it's the perfect game to escape in during these uncertain times.
1. Nioh2
2. Alyx
3. CONTROL: The Foundation
4. DOOM
Depending who is online from my Fam/co-workers
@Mergatro1d South Africa. Apparently it hasn’t been released in a few countries. People have tried reaching out to the developers but haven’t heard anything about whether it’ll change or not. Bummer, it looks like a lot of fun!
MLB 20 the show and finishing up, beyond two souls
Time split between Elder Scrolls Online and MLB the Show 19.
Yep, love me some MLB but I just don't see enough reason to buy this year's version over the last.
ESO is still my favorite game of the last year.
I've met so many great folks online while playing it.
Stay safe everyone....
Already played 20 hours of animal crossing since Thursday but I can stop whenever I want I swear.
Apart from that I’m juggling Doom and Doom eternal for the platinums, Doom eternal was phenomenal just need to play extra lives mode.
Just got Persona 5 Royal in the mail so that’s getting played right away.
Monster Hunter World!
Starting to get better and better!
Also the events /drools more than enough to do!
@Wazeddie22 I just managed a 14 mile loop, now I’ve justified vegging out on the sofa for the rest of the day 😂
I’m quite enjoying Dead Cells so will probably play that. It took a little getting used to because Roguelike and Metroidvania are not usually my thing. But I like how this game doesn’t quite fit either category. Playing around with different weapons has been really enjoyable.
If I grow tired of that, I might chill with something like Batman The Enemy Within or a similar story driven experience.
Like every other gamer, Animal Crossing. There might be a few playing DOOM Eternal but most hardcore gamers will be on AC. The casuals might be playing CoD or FIFA though.
@RogerRoger
Nioh 2 and Doom Eternal. I am not sure which I am loving the most at the moment. They are both brilliant and potential GOTY
@kyleforrester87 hey man my Switch code is
SW-6988-4295-6095, feel free to add me!
Anyone else is free to add me too, I need lots of Iron from everyone in AC😂
Yakuza 4 Remastered and DOOM Eternal
Finishing Witcher 3 Blood & Wine, trying to mop up every trophy. I think I prefer this to the actual main game, it's outstanding!
Crash Team Racing - not played too much so far but now I've got 3 weeks of lockdown I'll be able to
Doom Eternal - bought this last week hardly touched it ! All that mental energy needed lol
@Rob_230 Couldn't agree more, mate. Soooo addictive.
Diablo 3 and Twin Breaker.
Assassins Creed Odyssey all weekend 😁
Smash Brothers ultimate
@kyleforrester87 That's how much I usually walk in a day!
I just did 5 mins of jogging on the spot but I'm shattered already..better than nothing right?lol
How do i play the predator demo??
@Hego Added 🤙🏻
Im (admittedly expectedly) sad...
Was just trying out predator and well.... Its absolute garbage😭 im such a huge predator fan and was REALLY hoping this turned out but when the main core mechanic (aiming and shooting) feels this clunky and janky then its not a good sign, along with that the frame rate sucks and characters are literally teleporting and the ai soldiers are more dumb than a ps2 ai enemy, aaand its just one ugly mudda fudda game with horrible anti aliasing.
This really sucks because the thought of customizing my own female predator is like... The best thing ever! On the VERY TOP of my bucket list lol.
Sigh
Deus ex mankind divided again cause I love this s**t
Mostly rocket league. Done the training. Played some 3v3 online matches. Played a one-on-one game with a bot. Now ready for the tournament and more skills than I was at the start of this weekend.
@Gmork___ Do you think they could save it by delaying it to NextGen or do you think the core is broken?
@Ryall well i mean. If it had decent fps, the aiming was more fluid and natural feeling, if the enemy ai wasnt dumb as bricks and if players didnt teleport around all the time and well, while their at it make it not look like absolute butt, seriously theres like zero anti aliasing and everything just looks cheap like it was made by some kid messing around on unity
.... Then..... Maaaybe, but imho even if all of that was good i think itd still just be kind of boring. So i guess what im saying is imo at its core its just not a very good game. Just my opinion though. I WANT so badly to like it but just.. Eww
Monster Hunter World and MLB The Show 20
Currently playing death stranding for the first time only a few hours in so far but I'm loving it. I've always been someone who loves cutscenes in games so death stranding is totally my kind of game
What I've Been Playing:
I'm playing borderlands 3 and absolutely loving it bandit lyfe
