Media Molecule has just released the latest game update for Dreams, taking the PlayStation 4 exclusive title to version 2.08. The 252MB patch is available to download now, and includes a number of improvements to the experience.
A Welcome Garden Character Pack has been added, complementing the last update's Welcome Garden kit. Another interesting addition is a brand new blank puppet -- this one is shaped more like a platformer type character, with a big head and small body.
You can also now use the D-pad to navigate the Dreamiverse rather than motion controls or the thumb sticks. Always good to have more options. There are some other tweaks and fixes too, but those are the main additions this time.
Are you still playing and creating in Dreams on PS4? Pop out to the garden in the comments below.

VR please. Thanks.
Does anyone have a bug at the beginning of the game with the subtitles staying on even when turned off in the options menu??? I've got a clean install of the game, downloaded from the UK ps Store using a PS4 pro on the latest firmware update. I have turned the subtitles off at the very first chance but the subtitles are still displaying randomly??? Anyone else confirm this and also if this update fixes it??? I've been holding off playing because i really hate subtitles as i find them really immersion breaking and dont want the experience of Arts dream ruining. Thanks, keep safe everyone 😷
I wait for the PS5 or at least the VR-version. But I still bought the game day one to support the game and really hope that the PS5 version will be free for PS4 version owners.
When playing two player:
Player one can use motion, or sticks to control by changing the option
Player two: selecting either option makes you use motion, can find no way round it.
Anyone else find the same?
