Future Publishing, the company behind popular gaming website GamesRadar, is putting together a live showcase called the Future Games Show. The broadcast will go out live during what would've been E3 week in June.
It's described as an "hour-long broadcast containing exclusive trailers, announcements, and deep dives on existing AAA and indie games, focusing on current (and next-gen) consoles, mobile and streaming platforms". It sounds like there's going to be a real mix of content here, ranging from PlayStation 4 titles to a look at some upcoming PS5 games. The show will be accompanied by written pieces over on the site.
That's about all we have to go on for now, but it certainly sounds interesting. Whether Future can pull together the sort of announcements that are going to make this worth a watch remains to be seen. The proof will be in the pudding.
Still, between this, IGN's Summer of Gaming, and various other digital events on the horizon, we should be well served with PS4 and PS5 news in the coming months. Will you be tuning in to watch the Future Games Show? Tell us in the comments below.

Gamesradar, I used to love that site back in 2000's.They used to do the best/funniest list articles. I am pretty sure they had another name before Gamesradar back in 2001 too... A green website, with cheats..hmmm..
I go back occasionally but the websites a right mess these days in my opinion.
"...the company behind popular gaming website GamesRadar..."
Oh come on now, there's no gaming website more popular than Push Square! When is your digital showcase planned?
depends on what my work schedule is, most of these events will be running on U.S time and i start work at 4am UK time normally
Na. I'll just read the articles that are posted about it here and other sites I frequent.
I used to love old GamesRadar, especially their podcasts. TalkRadar UK and RadioRadar were amazing, I still listen to them now. And The PSM3 podcast.
On that note: Has anyone got old OPSM UK podcast episodes? Future wiped any trace of it which is super sad.
@DarthAmmii Ah the old PSM3 podcast. Now that was a quality podcast. I miss hearing from Dan Dawkins and the rest of the staff.
Also I've just checked my podcast feed and yeah all OPM UK pods are gone. I can see the episodes but it won't let me download or stream them unfortunately. I don't get why they would delete them. Just leave them up.
@Dange Well I have the PSM3 pods all in my G Drive, if you want the link just ask ππ
@DarthAmmii Seems like PSM3 is still available at the moment but I'll keep that in mind if they ever delete like they have the OPM ones. Thanksππ»
@Dange No worries. I've definitely learned to backup podcasts that I love.
Sony haven't been avoiding all 3rd party games showcases for the last 18 months+ to now appear at this or IGN's lame, half hearted shows.
Sony will never share the spotlight with multi-platform titles on a 3rd party showcase.
All announcements from Sony on hardware and large, exciting games will come from Sony themselves (and will continue for the foreseeable future)...
All I want is a new Open world Power Rangers game for the PS5 based on 3 seasons of Mighty Morphin, a new 30th anniversary Sonic game with multiple playable characters and new characters, Mortal Kombat 9 remastered for the PS4 and a Rayman M remastered game.
