Update: Marvel’s Spider-Man is official joining the roster of PlayStation Now games until 7th July, where it’ll be available to both stream and download. It’ll be joined by Just Cause 4 until 6th October and The Golf Club 2019. There’s no time limit on the latter, so no rush to hit the links.
Original Story: Sony hasn't yet announced the line-up of new additions coming to PlayStation Now this month, but the cat might already be out of the bag. An advertisement on French website Jeux Video indicates that the service will be adding yet another fantastic PlayStation 4 exclusive to the streaming subscription alongside two other interesting titles.
The ad reveals that PS Now users can look forward to Marvel's Spider-Man being added to the service as well as Just Cause 4 and The Golf Club. We have to assume that the former will stick around for a limited time, similar to Control and Persona 5, while the other two will be permanent additions. Don't forget that Horizon: Zero Dawn and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be leaving the service tomorrow.
Sony hasn't officially confirmed this month's PS Now additions, but we'll be sure to bring you that list when the Japanese giant confirms it. Would you be happy with Marvel's Spider-Man being added to PlayStation Now? Web swing into the comments below.

One step towards Spider-Man PC port? It's becoming dangerous...
I'm actually hyped to see Just Cause 4 and The Golf Club added if the rumor is true.
I love the Just Cause games, just decided to skip 4 since it seemed worse than 3 and as a fan of golfing outside of the realm of gaming, I was always interested in giving it a try to see how it compares to Everybody's Golf.
@Szobu Yep the beginning of the end of consoles. Sad times are coming.
Wow, my son just finished Lost Legacy yesterday afternoon, that was close.
That's awesome if true! Just finished up all the dlc last week. Spectacular game, happy more get to enjoy it!
@Ken_Kaniff Dramatic, much?
@Szobu
I'm actually happy that more players can play some of Playstation finest few years down the line.
Nothing wrong with that.
It doesn't undervalue the hardware or the brand.
PSNow is starting to shape up ok.
But still not for me - I would loose it if I have to wait that long to play a Big game. I rather just get a PlayStation and play it on Day 1.
@InsertUsername I assume he's talking about the death of PlayStation and all that?
It’s Confirmed Look On Ps4 Store And It says Spiderman With PS Now
@Deadlyblack I agree. I did not want to buy them but to see them on psnow is good.
@Ken_Kaniff To be fair, even now you can play 99% of PS4 games on PC with better graphics, framerate and the ability to mod them. People still buy consoles, though. I do agree that exclusives are important but a typical console costs less than a really good GPU, then you'd have to buy CPU, RAM, PSU, motherboard, case, keyboard, mouse, case, etc.
So it's somewhere in the middle - throwing away exclusives is a bad idea but then we're already in a position where almost all PS4 games are available on PC yet the PS4 has still done amazingly well. There's the cost of PCs and the perceived extra complexity of them vs consoles.
If this is true,I'll be so happy,I am interested in trying out just cause 4 and golf club game and I havent played w golf game in years since the Wii sports and I am so happy that this is the 1st time ever that Sony is doing a 2 game permanent additions than just one! If they keep doing this,people will surely repurchase ps now again! Thanks Sony!
@Deadlyblack just cause 4 was in my opinion best just cause game, or at least on par with just cause 3. I played them all, including 1st and 2nd
Ps now cover now shows spiderman this morning on psn store online
and just like that it was all forgotten that sony did cut their servers bandwith becouse of whats going on in the world. but go on and pay more for the half arsed experience, and help kill the physical format for games that many people depend on and our rights as consumers.
@Matroska ''To be fair, even now you can play 99% of PS4 games on PC with better graphics, framerate and the ability to mod them. People still buy consoles, though.''
Poople buy those consoles, because;
1)They are casual gamers
2)The graphicall differences are quite minimal (aside from 60 FPS)
3)People don't have interest in modding
4)It's an cheaper alternative
5)Most importantly, because of the very same exclusives
I absolutely agree, removing exclusives from the equation will definately hurt the brand in the long run and there are genuine concerns about games quality (since there is less need to sell those consoles and and as such there is less need to aim for higher quality).
Have they just gave up on PS3 games now? Not sure they add them monthly.
If this is the approach they take then I don't mind it. I think using your games to promote your service is better than full ports for several reasons.
First, you own hardware remains relevant. Second you'll get continuous revenue from the service from people who may not want to buy your console for one game.
Third, I think in the long run promoting your service will net you more profit because your games won't be under threat from all the PC Pirates.
And finally, they're still considered exclusive which is the strength of PlayStation.
Spiderman is alright a game but Just Cause 4 is not really a great game. We need the likes of Until Dawn, Tomb Raider, Uncharted and the new God of War big names ! Who loves golf on PS4? Not the many of us for sure. There's Assassins Creed and Shenmu as well as many great titles especially in the lockdown time. Thanks
I'm gonna blitz Control in the free trial.
@GADG3Tx87 Yes, bringing those games to PS Now would still give more people a chance to play those exclusive games, without devaluing the Playstation brand/platform.
Much better alternative, than a full on PC port.
@DominatorV93
Absolutely agree. And since Sony have a service available on PC to those who likely wouldn't buy a PS4 it's a no brainer. You don't have to worry about them pirating your game which happens A LOT over there and if they really want to play it, as they show all the time via Twitter then the service is a guaranteed way to get revenue and keep the PlayStation console relevant.
But as we have seen the feel the need to produce full ports which seems really stupid to me. Ports cost money to make, adding it to the service costs much less and guarantees money. Why not utilise what you have?
People who already have a PS4 likely don't care that much about PSNow but for people who don't it would be a big appeal with their 'exclusives' available only there and the console.
@Emmy10 Pretty sure Until Dawn, God of War, Tomb Raider AND Uncharted are/were on PS Now in the last few months. Maybe you missed the memo??
@ApostateMage Smart man
2 week free trial under quarantine conditions, you can blitz quite a number of games
@beavis64 Spiderman is a big name sure. I meant Just Cause 4 is not that great. Thanks
Only three games this month, one I have plat, the other I already own, the other one is a golf game lol Terrible month for me F in the chat
@AdamNovice Sounds like it.
