Can't wait to try this out.
Considering how much is in this demo it makes you wonder how big the full game will be.
Also I'm so going to be blasting that Black Sabbath song through my headset, now what was it called again...Paranoid?
I’m so stoked for this
Desperately trying to get it to appear in the store as we speak
Got it working , so excited
"Download in progress Tony."
"Nice work Friday."
Damn I wanted to download it but 25GBs for a demo...🤷♂️
stupid question but can you play this without VR?!
@daveofduncan No, it's VR only I'm afraid!
@AdamNovice do you mean thunderstruck by Ac/Dc?
Downloading now, excited to try it out!!
Cant wait to try this demo out. What i had seen so far didnt really sell me on the game, so i defo want to try before i buy
Downloading now. Sounds like it's got a decent amount of content for a demo so I'm excited to play hopefully tonight.
Is there a limit to how long it’s playable for? I’ve missed some trials in the past!
@Rob_230 I was jokingly referring to Black Sabbath's Iron Man but yeah AC/DC had songs in the movies too.
@AdamNovice Sorry 🤦🏻♂️missed that 🙂
You'll need the move controllers too. Just played some of it, when it clicks it's really good but hard to get used to at first.
Hard to get my head wrapped around the controls at first but once I did, man this is a great VR game, lots of fun! Definitely want to pick this up eventually now. Devs release more demos!!!
@AdamNovice Guess it's too late for my War Pigs joke. 😉
Though that song kind of covers the IM trilogy. 😎
I'll try out the demo, b/c it's free and VR, but it sounds kind of boring w/o a villain or frenemy to fight. Though I suppose there could be one in one of those optional missions.
Guess I'll go try it out and report back later, after the 25GB downloads and installs in an hour or so.
Just played the demo...those S O Bs at Camouflaj might just have pulled it off!
Helluva big file size for such a short experience. The controls are initially confusing. Left and right being on different move controllers is unusual but a necessity given the propulsion gestures your required to make. Gotta say, jumping out a burning plane and flying along side it is thoroughly exhilarating ... especially with an authentic Iron Man holographic HUD blinking before your eyes. Wasn't expecting it to feel anywhere near this authentic. Hope the rest of the game is just as exciting.
Fantastic demo! Could be a gem this one. Didn't use the auto turn via the controls, and just turned around myself. Good recognition by the camera and the gameplay itself was fun and frantic. Ironically zero VR sickness from this compared to other games in which I have felt a little occasionally.
Okay, what's the nausea factor on this? For reference, I could not do Blood & Truth.
Way to short but it left me wanting more , hurry up and get here full release - highly recommend
@deadhunter I struggle with blood and truth too, but ironically I had zero sickness with this. Considering it's very fast movement.
@Rob_230 I love Led Zeppelin!
Such a nice surprise waking up to this news. I just got a 12 pack & some herbals for when my wife goes to bed so I can REALLY immerse myself lol very encouraging to see some people say they didn't feel any motion sickness too, Firewall almost made me vomit and left me feeling sick for a few hours. But lately I've been playing more and more VR and it feels like maybe ive adjusted to it a little. If I can get through the demo without feeling sick this will 100% be a day 1 purchase for me. VR has been so great during the quarantine!
Ive got no bloody Move controllers, so for the foreseeable future, I'm out!! Sad times.
Wow. Lots of fun. Controls take a second but then its all good. And forgiving as well. I still dunno if sitting or standing is the best way to play. What do you all think?
@iSmokeWii im lucky. I can hit Wipeout for 2 hours pretty lit and no issues. Ive yet to have a game make me sick. So sign me up for any VR
That was pretty sweet! The controls take some getting used to, especially with the ability to move 360. Man I hope PSVR2 is wireless. But the demo...wrist tilt to fly, to shoot, to do pretty much anything. It reminds me of Warhawk and mastering the piloting. Same thing. I feel like it could be so fluid in an amazing way with practice. Great demo!
@Imagremlin I’m usually about 2-3 metres away from my camera but for some reason the game wanted me to be closer. I was probably just over 1, maybe 1.5 metres. So you shouldn’t have an issue.
Yea gave this a go a few hrs back, really enjoyed it, will defo be picking it up at some point, controlled do take a bit to get used to but, once it clicks you do feel badass lol
Yeah was day one already but t loved the demo
Gotta say as much as I love my PSVR this game really held little interest for me but after trying the demo..ohhh boy am I excited now!
Fantastic demo that has just made this game from a 'doubt I'll buy it' to a Day One..awesome!
it's so sick flying around with the jet arms, the only annoyance is getting used to the controls at first but I've started to get a hand of them.
