Mafia III: Definitive Edition released on PlayStation 4 yesterday for £24.99/$29.99, bundling together the base game and all its DLC packs. That's not a terrible deal, but the thing is, there's a very realistic chance you actually already own the game. Mafia III was a free PlayStation Plus title back in August 2018 and since its story DLC has been made available for free to everyone, your copy will have been automatically upgraded to the Definitive Edition if you added the original game to your library.
Even if you've only just picked up a copy of Mafia III, you can still take advantage of this deal. The Stones Unturned and Sign of the Times expansions are both completely free, while the Faster, Baby! DLC should join it shortly. For some reason, it is still displaying a price of £11.99 but we assume this will be fixed shortly. Some users have reported that this piece of content is actually listed as free for them, while others aren't having such luck. It's worth trying for yourself.
So, there you have it. If you already have a copy of Mafia III, you can start playing its DLC offerings free of charge. And if you're thinking of picking the game up later on down the line, this deal will still be sat waiting for you.

Well, sh*t.
I already have the game and all the DLCs, all bought and paid for at the time... Had I known we would eventually get all of of it for free...
But I'm happy for those who haven't played them yet, they're a nice, fun little addition to the game, especially "Faster, baby"
I always wanted to play Mafia 3 but never got round to buying it. I'll try and pick it up on disc 😊
This is actually nice touch, considering this was a plus game as well. That’s means some people will have got the whole things for free.
Seeing this image makes me want a Preacher game.
Also, in the uk [or for me?] at least, if you search for "Mafia 3" it comes up with the dlc, it says you can't add it because I don't own mafia 3 (i do). If you search for mafia 3 dlc, it gives you something to click but that also said unavailable. At the bottom of that page, where it shows the similar searches, the dlc are listed as individual items and they are free that way. I discovered this yesterday after seeing a reddit post, the store may have updated since then and this was a waste of time me typing out 🤷♂️
Faster, Baby DLC still showing as £11.99 for me at the moment. Mafia III is on my back log to play after receiving through plus so now even more 'free' stuff to do in something I've not started yet. Can't be bad.
I might play the DLC to be honest. I kinda liked this game a lot.
N.i.c.e. word up son
Mafia 3 is repetitive but has a good story and a excellent soundtrack. I'm definitely gonna give a try.
I thought Mafia 3 was great. The story and cut scenes were great, the soundtrack suited the setting so much l would sit in the car listening to the song to finish before getting out. The faster baby DLC also added a compelling side story.
I thought Mafia 3 was supposed to be rubbish?I've had it on my harddrive since they gave it away with Plus but so many people were slagging it off I never bothered with it.
@Lyonjak Same here. Sometimes a "Restore Licenses" is necessary to get around this issue, but in this case it still didn't work after doing so.
I wanted to like this game, and a part of me did, but the repetitive missions just overshadowed the great story and voice acting. With all that said, the game had an immense amount of potential. If Mafia 4 ever comes out I feel it will be a fantastic game.
Got the other 2 dlc's but "faster, baby" is listed at £11.99 still as well. which is odd.
Another Freebie - to add to a game, that had some great set pieces,
So a Big Thank You for those Parties responsible to Issuing the
DLC as Free to All - Appreciated
If they listen to feedback from Mafia III the Mafia 4 could be one of the best of its Genre -
I have the platinum but may download it again for the DLC. I hate that I have the platinum but only like 70% completion.
Just downloaded all the Dlc, but faster baby says it's unavailable for some reason?
