Don't forget that Marvel's Avengers is still a thing! Currently scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 this September, we haven't seen much of the game since the Avengers Day reveal and subsequent gameplay introduction so this newly announced livestream has been a long time coming. Square Enix is hosting a live War Table broadcast next month on 24th June where we'll get to see a lot more of the superhero experience. Don't forget that this is a loot-based game similar to Destiny 2 and ANTHEM.
The quick clip that the Marvel's Avengers Twitter account posted points towards new trailers, co-op gameplay, and story missions. It sounds like something worth tuning in for if you're hyped about the game or just a Marvel fan in general. Don't forget that the title is currently scheduled to launch on 4th September 2020.

Excited to see more of this game,another event added to the calendar!!
@Grimwood Good job this is made by Crystal Dynamics then, huh?
I'll check it out but they have alot to prove. The first trailer was 'meh' and i dont really like games like destiny. I feel this isnt a game for me. However, ive always rated crystal dynamics so im happy to give them the benefit of the doubt for now
I'm going back and forth on this one. I'll wait for the reviews.
@Grimwood ππ€π΄π.you make no sense at all dog.word up son
@Grimwood spider-man PS4 doesn't suck!!
@LiamCroft that's even worse, this game is going to be a dumpster fire.
Anthem with Marvel Skins incoming.
It looks terrible but if they put enough proper comics nods in there then Iβll bite... for about Β£10.
I've not seen a game that gets more and more disappointing with every time more information is released.
Who knows what other nonsense they'll reveal in the live stream?
I do love crystal dynamics too..
@nessisonett I read that as "comics nudes" and I was like... There are nude Marvel comics? Imagine getting nude skins in a lootbox.
Now I'm disappointed.
Mahvel intensifies!
Sorry this looks and feels terrible, I can see this being 15$ dollars after it comes out
I'm unsure on this game. I want it to be successful, but them taking this whole "online" approach could kill the game. Plus the character designs look absolutely terrible.
This should be one of the most hyped up games of the past 5 years considering how many people love Marvel at the moment, but it feels like no one can care less. This could still be amazing, but everything I hear about it just makes me groan. Maybe they'll change my opinion around with this though!
My excitement for this game died the moment we saw any of it and the more I learn about it, the more satisfied I am knowing my wallet remains safe.
@ShogunRok A nude Grey Hulk / Joe Fixit skin might be enough to turn me around on this game.
My hype for this game died when I found out it's a Destiny clone. If it were like Spiderman and was just a great sp I'd be all over it.
If they changed the main playable character, or let you make your own hero, or changed the live service model I'd consider it, but this is a hard pass from me.
Everything I hear about this game makes me more and more disinterested.
They really need to put some work into this. It still looks a bit "meh"
You have TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima heading there and Cyberpunk 2077 launching a week after. They will need to exceed expectations.
That said - sure it won't be as awful as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
@Grimwood
Then why bother commenting on a marvel article.
"these aren't the superheroes you re looking for, move along"
πππ
@Constable_What
I respect your decision, however if you remember correctly most people were talking about Star wars jedi fallen order the very same way as you do now and see how that turned out.ππ
@No_Cartridge Yeah, it doesn't sound like it's going to be for me - games as a service do nothing for me, and I find it frequently to be an excuse to release games lacking in any meaningful content. It's such a shame, because I love marvel, and if they made a cinematic game like some of Sony's exclusives e.g. God of War, this could've been a masterpiece. As it stands, I think I'm going to give this a miss
@Chryssy75 Uhh... What? Jedi Fallen Order wasn't a live service though. People were complaining it looked kind of generic, and nothing was really said about the protagonist.
Also you didn't have to play as Kamala Khan, one of the worst super heroes ever in a comic book, so....
@Constable_What
I'm sorry, I didn't know you've already played the game.
@Chryssy75 LOL! Crystal Dynamics ALREADY confirmed it's a live service and that the main character is Kamala Khan!
What are you smoking? Hahahaha
I just went to the official page and although you are right about kamala khan(a very poor decision) I just don't see how having online Co op and multi-player element is considered a live service type of game.π€π€
Fortnite or cod war zone are live service games.
This game however can be play from start to finish offline and therefore is not a live service game. π
Man... all i want to hear is they are working on a Soul Reaver remake next.
We really don't need another live service. I am afraid this will flop. Wich sucks, cause i like crystal Dynamics and i don't want them closed down.
