Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will be officially revealed tomorrow -- that's the 22nd June -- during the scheduled Summer Games Fest showcase. The official Crash Bandicoot Twitter account spilled the beans after the game's existence was leaked earlier in the week. We even got a look at some blurry screenshots taken from the title's imminent trailer.
Still, it's nice to have confirmation that we won't be waiting long to see the Bandicoot back in action. We're looking forward to seeing how developer Toys for Bob tackles this long, long awaited platforming sequel.

I’m super excited! Toys For Bob did such an excellent job with Spyro Reignited Trilogy, so even if this new Crash Bandicoot isn’t quite as good as the original three games, I’m sure it will still be an excellent game in of itself! I do hope they make a new Spyro game in the future as well, preferably set after the original three Insomniac games (the ones they remastered in Reignited Trilogy). For now, though, I’m very excited to see this new Crash Bandicoot! I’ll try to keep an open mind when I see the reveal too, since this isn’t Naughty Dog developing it. It might have some differences or it’s own creative spin on it, and I’m okay with that as long as the game turns out to be fun and entertaining. Overall this is exciting news to me! Here’s hoping they can keep making Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games that are fun, entertaining, and well designed! I believe they can!
Perfect thumbnail
There's really no buzz for this, I myself don't really care either way. Well it is easy giving them credit for the remake trilogy even though technically Naughty Dog had done all the hard labor on the games already.
I'm at least curious as to what it will look like, It probably won't touch the original trilogy...heck I doubt it will even be as good as The Wrath of Cortex but let's see.
@thefirst Same here, I grew up with Spyro, not Crash Bandicoot.
However I do still enjoy the Crash series and am willing to give #4 a try.
Looking forward to it. I get the feeling that the characters are going to look better in motion than in those leaked screenshots.
Crash Bandicoot or Five Nights At Freddy's? That screenshot could be either. 😨
@Matroska Ha, yeah. Now imagine that same costume as being the same Crash who appeared in the infamous commercial where he went to Nintendo HQ in the 90s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTi5EaocGaY
Then recall this commercial for Super Smash Bros: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K783SDTBKmg
Still creepy? Or funny idea of costumed minimum wage workers beating the fluff out of each other in front of a camera and advertising execs?
Crash bandicoot and syphon filter was the reason why i l💖ve ps1 even more.cant wait for a new crash .word ☝ up son
@thefirst. Crash is way better than spyro .i fixed it for you.word up son
I thought CTR was crash 4, and wrath of cortex was 5
Jesus that thumbnail is terrifying
Hi there fellow gamers. Crash Bandicoot was THE Sony mascot for years and Crash 3 Warped is still my favourite PSOne games. Could this be the renaissance era for Crash and platformers alike? Maybe. The remakes and remasters have been really good so far. Cheers, stay safe and happy gaming to us all
Interested to check this out but after that incredible Ratched and Clank PS5 trailer, Crash is really going to have to pull out all the stops to make a similar impact.
Interesting to see another platformer early doors announcement for PS5. Does this mean FPS glory days are dying finally? I hope so
If it's going to be rock hard like 1/2&3 then I might be put off getting it(even tho I 100% all of them in the past) Crash 1 was a nightmare to complete and I really don't know how I did it back in the PS1 days I haven't got time to replay games over and over again just because they are to hard nowadays :-/ Anyway looking forward to seeing what it's like anyway
YEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS
@Juanalf You have a point with Naughty Dog being the original parents to their beloved pet.
Unfortunately, Naughty Dog have done what most horrible pet owners do. They give them away in favour of raising their kids instead.
And we all know how 'Ellie' turned out
