Yep, it's happening. They're remaking Demon's Souls. It's a PlayStation 5 exclusive developed by Bluepoint Games in partnership with Japan Studio, just as the rumours have been saying for months now. The game got an announcement trailer during Sony's PS5 reveal showcase, in which the title's opening is remade.

Demon's Souls on PS5 has been rebuilt from the ground up. The game's official description reads: "In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate." It doesn't have a release date yet, so we assume that it isn't a PS5 launch title.
