Bungie has announced the latest expansion to its looter shooter -- Destiny 2. Titled Destiny 2: Beyond Light, it comes to PlayStation 4 on 22nd September 2020, bringing with it a battle against the Darkness, a new villain, and an entirely new element which sits alongside Solar, Void, and Arc. It's called Stasis and this addition could dramatically change the game. Check out the announcement trailer above.
That's just the tip of the iceberg, however. Bungie also announced expansions for both 2021 and 2022 named The Witch Queen and Lightfall. We'll have articles following this covering that news as well as PlayStation 5 support.
Does this convince you to get back into Destiny 2? Let us know in the comments below.

Great stream, start to finish. Really liked what I heard from them and ugh they've sucked me back in lol! Very well done by them cant wait to finally be able to play with both my kiddos in a full fireteam!!
I won't need to be sucked back in, as I already play, but this all really exciting!
Stasis? I love Stasis! With my Iron Sledgehammer, I can send a rock hurtling half-way across the map...
Wait, I'm talking about the wrong game!
Also, Liam, you called it Statis in the article text, not Stasis.
@Crimson_Ridley Fixed, thanks!
@LiamCroft You're very welcome. I realised after I had posted, I had typed Statis as well! Egg and my face were in alignment.
Hmm.... interesting, might have to look out for this/these expansions. I dropped off Destiny 2 well before the first expansion even hit. It was fun when my team of friends were all on to do the activities with, but that’s the thing though. That’s about the only time this game is any fun for me, is if I’ve got a group to play with. Otherwise this sh— just puts me to sleep.
