What Will Be Shown During the EA Play 2020 Livestream?
Electronic Arts loves to go big on sports games during these sorts of conferences so expect to hear word on the latest FIFA and Madden titles. Elsewhere, a Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster is heavily rumoured to be in development while Dragon Age 4 was already announced a few years back. ANTHEM is also undergoing a major facelift, although it's unlikely to feature during this digital event. The same can be said of the Battlefield and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order franchises.
How Long Is the EA Play 2020 Livestream Going to Be?
EA hasn't specified a length for its digital broadcast just yet, but we'd expect it to last for roughly an hour.

Honestly EA needs to have something big but its gonna be dominated by the money makers FIFA and Madden. Unless there is news on Mass Effect or Dead Space theres probably not much for me. Hell id take a Saboteur remaster
I have soured on EA and can't remember the last time I plunked down full retail for anything they have to offer. Last time I spent money was $10 on Madden three years ago and I regretted even that.
I tried playing BF2 since it was this month's PS+ title, but I just can't get into it. Graphics are nice, just not into the campaign and I'm not likely to touch online. Maybe I'll give it another chance.
What I really want out of EA is a new NFL Street or a new, GOOD, Def Jam Game. If they do either (or both) of those I'd pony up and jump back on the EA saddle.
I still think NFL Street is the best EA football game ever made (the first one is my fav). They screwed up with arcade football on the PS3, not sure why they abandoned a great idea like Street. NFL Tour was garbage, and Madden Arcade was mediocre at best.
Def Jam Vendetta is my fav wrestling game ever made. Fight for NY was awesome too, just not as wrasslin as the first (but the fighting was better). Then along came that turd Def Jam Icon.
Y U gotta suck so much EA?
Fingers crossed for Mass Effect Trilogy!
@TrueAssassin86x no m8 EA actually done something by donating money instead of the play acting the rest have been doing...
I'm looking forward to seeing their next-gen sports games to be honest. Particularly interested to see what they do with NBA Live.
EA have a very rare and golden opportunity to make me happy with this stream, just announce the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster. So in the words of the late Alan Rickman "Do not disappoint me"
It will be
Madden
NBA
FIFA
NFL
NHL
STAR WARS STAR WARS STAR WARS
Need for speed
Definitely won't be staying up for this one I'm afraid but will check in on the news later in the day to see if the Mass Effect rumours were true.
Fingers crossed the Mass effect remaster is true and coming soon. All I care about tbh
I'm currently replaying Mass Effect now but it would be great to play it without the constant mini loads and a butter smooth frame rate. We need that remaster.
Unfortunately it clashes with a little something else at midnight tonight...
@ApostateMage Hi there friend. Absolutely agree. Although I still think the first game needs a remake, not a remaster. I loved the at the time and still do, but that game was clunky. And let´s not get started on the loading issues, both on Xbox 360 and on PS3. Terrible thing. I´m realu hoping Bioware can make a proper Mass Effect game, since Andromeda was an okay game. So much potential lost in that one. Cheers, stay safe and have a good one
12am? Will be playing last of us then
@Nah900 Yes, gameplay for Star Wars: Squadrons is confirmed.
A new NBA Jam would be very welcome. The one they released last gen was pretty great. Failing that, Road Rash & a new, real Command & Conquer game. Talk about dreaming haha
Forgot this was today. Not expecting much but a new NBA Street game would be very welcome. Probalby just going to be FIFA/Madden/Star Wars/a couple indies. Will still tune in though!
12am for EA. No thanks.
Rather play LoU2.
If they revive EA Big and give me a remake of the original SSX for next gen, I’m in! Otherwise, meh.
Sorry to be pedantic, but for UK/Ireland, it's actually 12am on Friday 19th June. 12am today has already gone. 😎
Same with the Europe and Asia times... all Friday 19th.
I'm sure FIFA21 for PS5 is only going to look as good as PES2020 🙄
Not going to watch, will just check Push Square later tonight for news. Dragon Age interests me, as does the ME trilogy if part 1 is getting an upgrade.
A dead space remastered will be cool.word up son
Just want the UFC 4
I'd love to see something from Dragon Age.
I was going to watch this, but my copy of The Last of Us P2 arrived this morning. As soon as work is over I won't have any attention left for anything else until sleep comes for me at 4am.
I’ll be kind of busy at 12am BST tonight with something called The Last of Us 2...I hear it’s supposed to be quite good!!
@LiamCroft Surely you mean 00:00 Friday in UK. Midnight Thursday.
Or as you put it 12.00am Friday 19th.
So, EA doesn’t care for Europe much?
I mean, you can’t get the times right for everyone but Europe is one of their biggest markets and they timed it for when the continent is asleep.
Would watch if I wasn't doing something else at midnight tonight..
I'm hoping for a new Battlefield game where you can blow holes in walls again. I'm a gopher, darnit...I NEED MY HOLES!
