Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Announced for PS5, Holiday 2020

I'm a little disappointed it's miles already, would've liked to have had more Peter since we've only had one game from Insomniac.

I'm sure it'll be great either way just can't help but feel a little annoyed.

@RogerRoger Course but I had been waiting for years for spiderman to get a good game and Insomniac really delivered!

I was hoping to have more Peter since he's my favourite and I've never been interested in Miles. As I said I'm sure the game will be great but I'm equal parts excited and disappointed.

That didn't look too impressive for next gen.

Glad this was a starting game on the show. Looks very fun and definitely will be worth a play. It just looks like a PS4 game is all. Still looking good though

This could be Spider-Man 1.5? Focusing on Miles here gives Peter plenty more room to star in, and grow in Spider-Man 2. A few Goblins, maybe Venom... I'm excited for the future games in the series

I think we all know why they’re doing Miles instead of Peter

Release date killed my hype and I love the PS4 game. Feel like it will be along the lines of First Light.

Gives Miles his own game that peter can feature in and the end credit of this leads into the actual spiderman 2 in 2022-23

More Insomniac Spidey is never a bad thing.

I’d rather Spider-Man 2. It looks neat, but like an in-between. Not sure it feels like a full new game.

I'm glad we can finally have a full game with Miles Morales. We have had so many Peter parker Spider-Man games and I'm excited for this.

I think this is a Lost Legacy type of Stand Alone DLC for the PS4 game rather than a full game

Reckon this is a smaller Spider-Man game than the main title but still looks good. Nice surprise too!

Hi there good people. Was not expecting this right of the bat. Loved what Insomniac did with my favourite superhero, so I can´t wait for this. Even if it is something like Lost Legacy type. And on launch day? Yeah, I´m getting a PS5 this year. Cheers and happy gaming to us all

@koaeinferno because it's not next gen, it;s more of a full fat story DLC for current Marvel's Spider-Man. As you can see from the trailer, assets and city is the same, they pretty much just made new story. PS5 version will benefit from ssd loading, so no more popping and or prolonged loading screens and it will probably have better world-wide textures and stick to native 4K. Maybe full puddle experience which was stripped out from the original. Who knows...

@Bamila totally agree considering the short amount of since PS4 Spidey,the total lack of information on Miles I suspect it's gonna be like Sucker Punches Infamous 2 first light DLC which was pretty big to be fair, I wonder if they will provide some upgrades for the base PS4 game on the backwards compatibility side of things.

I can’t wait, I’m a huge Miles fan. I was really hoping to play as him in some DLC, so I’m really excited for this.

Miles is goning to bring some new elements to the game with his unique abilities.

@Cloud39472 Me too.. Insomniac's Peter Parker character is really good, kinda sad we moved on to Miles Morales so soon.

Insomniacs delivers, can't wait to play this and ratchet. Buying insomniacs is really great decisions for sony

@QuanQual I'm hoping it's what people have been saying above and that it's more a spiderman 1.5 and not a spiderman 2.

This should be an In between game leading into what will be the sequel with Peter Parker, keeping my fingers crossed!
