Bloober Team's Observer is getting a PlayStation 5 remaster at some point in the future, and in an attempt to detail just some of the next-gen enhancements it brings with it, the developer debuted a new 10-minute gameplay trailer at IGN's Summer of Gaming event. Titled Observer: System Redux, make sure you whack up the quality of the video we've embedded above for the full experience.
Bloober Team makes sure to highlight 4K visuals, 60 frames-per-second, HDR, ray-tracing, and improved lighting. The remaster will also include some new story content, which you can get a taste of in the trailer. We most certainly were not the biggest fans of Observer when it launched on PlayStation 4 so let's hope this next-gen version improves that base product.

As this isn’t a free upgrade to those who have it on PS4, I’m not interested. This should be an upgrade to those who have already purchased the game. I don’t like the president this helps set.
Looks really nice.
@glassmusic Well this is not a simple upgrade if i look at it they put a lot of extra work in it why should it be free?
@Flaming_Kaiser Hello Games has entered the chat
I really enjoyed this game so I’m def there day one for this especially since it’s looks massively better and has new storylines to experience. I loved walking around it’s world and just talking to residents and exploring. The hotel just felt so grimy and lived in which made it all the more unsettling to explore
R.I.P Rutger Hauer
@Prime_Objective I wonder how his passing affected the new content. Presumably it was recorded for the original game but got cut? We'll find out.
@AJDarkstar Easy for MS they dont have too pay for the work. Lets its up to the developer not every company is a multibillion company with cash too burn. And the 2 games you bring up are massive companies who have more then enough cash too burn with their nasty MT business.
@glassmusic If they had not done it they would have been quite the joke the game was quite mediocre at the start. Its not like they are EA or 2K with some big franchises that will sell even if you would ***** in the case and release it.
I never played the original but I'll check it out
Bought this on a PSN sale but didn't really like it, if it was a free upgrade I'd maybe give it another go.
If only The Medium would also come out for the PS5..
If games are going to backwards compatible and even get a boost from ps5 do we need remasters of this gen? I was thinking the same of the bloodborne rumour, seems a waste of resource.
RayTracing, HDR, 4K, No loading screens and all at 60Fps
Wow, looks like developers will really be able to pull this off on a console. Now I want to see this done on New games in the reveal event later today
@Robinsad Exactly!
I have BloodBorne in my Closet. Just put it on the BC list. Publishers should spend the time and development money making new PS5 games.
Not dropping $600 to play games I already played.
