We really like the look of Pistol Whip, a virtual reality rhythm FPS heading to PlayStation VR. Taking inspiration from a wide range of action movies, the game gives you the freedom to tackle each on-rails shootout your own way -- but you'll earn higher scores for shooting to the beat.
We've been eager to give this one a go ourselves, and fortunately the wait is nearly over. Developer Cloudhead Games has announced the game is coming to PSVR on 28th July 2020.
It sounds like the PSVR version will also be getting future content updates too, such as the impending Heartbreakers Trilogy pack. Colour us intrigued -- roll on July. Are you looking forward to Pistol Whip? Reload in the comments section below.

Mmm
Another day one purchase. Can’t wait!
@Quintumply
Any idea if there will be a demo?
I am so freakin' excited for this one! VR is definitely the place for rhythm games!
I love this game on Oculus Quest. This is the perfect game to show to a friend for five minutes.
I'm sure this plays perfectly well on PSVR; this is a standing face forward VR game. I suspect Quest is nicer just because of the higher res display and nicer controller and competent 3D graphics.
@lacerz Hopefully, but no word on that yet!
