PS5's New Wireless Headset Will Let You Enjoy Peerless 3D Audio

Yeah, I'm totally buying this.

Looks great. I hope it's comfortable and made of high quality materials. I've had my Platinum headphones for 2 years and the earpads have already started to peel (maybe due to the heat in Barbados), but the rest of the headset still looks pristine.

No offense to Sony, but any stereo headphones can do 3D Audio.

Really hope this is there at launch. My current gold headset is really long in the tooth plus I hate still having to use micro usb for anything.

I really want Sony to offer proper Bluetooth ideally 5.0 this time around, there are so many good wireless head phones but you're so limited due to the bespoke technologies or have to use external devices.

A nice pair of WH1000 MX4's when they're released for use with both the PS5, Xbox and PC would be awesome.

Ok but.... Really aren't they just rebranded/redesigned. Unless they have multiple drivers in each ear its still just virtual 3d and not true 3d. I really want to know more. If they legit use new fangled tech etc, then day one.

I hope those don't need a usb dongle.

I still do not understand what 3D audio is. Several people have tried to explain it and I still don't buy it. I guess I just have to try it somehow.

These had better be able to go a bit bigger than the Platinum headset. That thing burrows into the top of my skull at the largest settings far too quickly. I hate having a massive head.

I really want to buy a new headset like this but after owning the last PS headphones, the gold or wtv it was, and only surviving for like a year...I'm not so sure! I hope these are way more sturdy!

Sony really need to fix the quality of the earpads took about 2 years for mine to crack and peel off. It was very rare that I even used them, I don't play multiplayer games.

@Heavyarms55 Do you have some decent headphones? Check out 3D Reworks 001 by Max Cooper on Spotify (and other platforms, I guess). It should give you some idea about the added space/positioning that comes with 3d sound
