How many hero shooters does the world need? One more, according to EA, as it’s bringing Rocket Arena to the PlayStation 4 from 14th July. “Rockets rule everything in Rocket Arena, an explosive 3v3 shooter where you’re never out of the fight,” the summary explains. “Master your hero’s unique rockets and abilities to blast your rivals off the map and rule the arena!”
Looks like there’ll be multiple seasons to this, so it’s your typical service-based online game. There’s much more information available on the release’s website.

Sorry EA but the only Rocket Arena I need in my life is rockets only in Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament 2004.
On topic, this feels like EA trying to cash in on the colorful cartoon-y hero shooter that's been popular the last few years.
There's currently as many people playing this online as there will be 2 months after release.
It looks fun but my god I would not be surprised if EA overlords decide to monetize this to high heaven like Overwatch which is a mess with all the loot box shenanigans
“Please be excited” lol
man you know what gets tiring. the same dragged out ea comments, christ.
I'll check it out at least before bashing it needlessly.
I don't play multiplayer game but this game looks interesting.

Me
This. Looks. Terrible. Truly terrible.
Eh the smash bros style knockout kills seem interesting enough for me to give it a shot.
