Recompile Is a Gorgeous 3D Metroidvania Coming to PS5

Recompile has been announced for PlayStation 5, and it looks great. It's an indie metroidvania-style title set within a 3D digital world. You play as a sentient computer virus attempting to hack into The Mainframe, and to do that, you'll be platforming, fighting, and solving environmental puzzles.

The game's twist comes with hacking. You can hack into enemies and systems to turn them to your advantage, or use the mechanic to get around obstacles. The "small yet fully-realised" world is open for you to explore however you wish. It sounds as though the way you play will dictate certain things, such as multiple endings or how the antagonist will react to you.
