We've known about a new Test Drive Unlimited game for a while, but now it's finally been officially announced. Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is the next title in the racing series, this time coming from publisher Nacon and developer Kylotonn.
Unfortunately, we don't know much more about the game at this point. We've been treated to the above teaser, but concrete details are scarce. Even platforms have yet to be announced, though we're sure it's safe to presume PlayStation 5 at this stage.
Hopefully we get to learn more about this game soon. Are you excited for the return of Test Drive? Start your engines in the comments section below.

I actually spent far more time than I should have on the first one. Even with all it’s faults, I really enjoyed it.
I’m looking forward to see how this turns out.
I’m slightly confused by its 18 rating. Aren’t they just open world racing games like Need for Speed?
@nessisonett I agree with your comment
It must have dogging sites that you can stop off at.
@nessisonett from what I read on another site, the previous games had some type of casino aspect to them so that's probably a reason.
That teaser really didn't tell us much other than the fact that it'll have cars. Still seems like it's quite a ways out as well. Whole stream was pretty terrible though honestly.
Pegi 18 so it's going to be full of loot boxes and MTs or has a store to buy performance packs like Need for Speed did
Think I'll pass
I loved TDU on 360 but this is were racers are going really hope the UK government ban them sooner than later as this game will then be screwed
As soon as he mentioned that the gameplay has evolved to keep up with current trends I lost all interest. I don't want a racing game where I do the same races in order to get the epic ECU, or buy battle pass' so I can acquire the latest liveries.
But they did say they will be listening to feedback about the reveal and implied they'll change if necessary, so there is still hope. Plus I haven't actually seen gameplay yet so I will still keep an eye on it.
How are these games?
@ealmcgowan Because isn't PEGI the UK and Europe's governing body for age restrictions and if the so called loot box and MTs are going to be under UK law for gambling they would have to put PEGI 18 as it then confirms it will have some sort of loot box system in it.
