It's been heavily rumoured for a while, and now it really does look like Call of Duty: Warzone will play host to at least the official tease of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. With the beginning of Season Five, players have begun spotting mysterious pop-ups on their screens while fighting for first place in the Battle Royale mode. They take the form of a TV screen full of black and white static, but some clips have made out the phrases "Know your history" while a Google translation of another reads "Doomed To Repeat It".
In other news, Call of Duty influences have been sent a gigantic crate in the post that they're not allowed to open until Monday, and we assume its contents have something to do with the next game. It's probably not going to be a full reveal, but at least a tease of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is most likely arriving in just a few days time. Until then, these small in-game teasers are certainly a good way of drumming up hype. We can't wait to see how this all plays out.

I mean since when have COD game reveals not have been the worst kept secret in the gaming industry?
Hell the one time it was a legit surprise was Infinite Warfare as illustrated by the beautiful like-dislike ratio and comments section
Perhaps COD should ‘know their history’ considering the amount of shady stuff they pull and rewrite American war crimes.

After saying, "Know your History" there is Russian text. I believe someone should look into this. It is too blurry for me to translate it.
@nessisonett unfortutunatly i was always told history is often written by the victor and lets be serious the last 2 world wars and numerous other conflicts have seen us step back whilst they claim the victory and frankly let them if that makes them feel better
What I found funny is that, as some player shot me in the face with a P90 from 300M out this thing shows up on my screen saying. "Know your history" and something else un read able similar to the last clip.
This morning i landed in farmland had to kill someone right after i landed. I was stuck in some lil building and he came back right after i killed him the second time me screen got fuzzy like this bit i didn't see what it said if it even said anything at all but what you just showed is 100% what i seen. Thought i was going crazy
